@@jaysotho She wasn’t immune to it though(No Vampire is), She just had a good tolerance like Marcel does. You can see Marcel taking Vervains in the first episode of The Originals, It was clear in that scene that he also had a good tolerance to the Vervain.

@@shade8569 She was immune to being sufficiently weakened and being able to withstand passing out from vervain.. she still suffers the physical effects of vervain lol. She has developed an immunity to vervain lol that’s a known thing. Marcel was never stated to be, he just has been drinking it for the reason of not being compelled or risk being compelled.

They never told us that Tyler’s dad was a werewolf. They just showed us that he has the gene. I always have taken it as that his dad didn’t trigger the curse. They never talk about that ever so it’s not a spoiler.

Yeh also when it first foreshadows Tyler being a werewolf he’s standing in front of the moon and this was only moments after his father took him and Jeremy outside to fight. So obviously if his father was a werewolf with the gene triggered he wouldn’t be there bc he would have to turn.

One thing - Damon was fascinated by the fact that Katherine is a vampire, he loved her even though he knew she was a vampire. Katherine never compelled him to love her or to drink her blood, he wanted to be with her, he wanted to be a VAMPIRE. HE TRULY LOVED HER On the other hand She compelled Stefan to not be afraid of her as we saw her compelling stefan in previous season when he was afraid of her. She did compel stefan to stick around and fed him her blood by using mind control. That's why he was with her even after knowing that Damon is in LOVE with her because Katherine compelled him to do so and asked him to kept it a secret from Damon and vice-versa.

Damon was always the open minded, headstrong and progressive type, whereas Stefan was the traditional gentlemanly conservative and well mannered one. thus their reactions to something as existential breaking like paranormal creatures was on point.

Katherine wanted both Salvatores because it was fun to have them be in love with her. Here it shows that she loved Stefan but she clearly cared for damon too.

Fun fact: people used to take micro-doses of a specific poison, and gradually increase it, in order to make themselves immune to being poisoned by their enemies. Katherine is 500 years old, so she would know that.

Werewolves are still living creatures and they age. Tyler’s dad was never a wolf, he never turned on a full moon, just was extra aggressive. They have super healing & hearing. Like how Tyler and his dad were able to hear the Gilbert device. Mason doesn’t want any trouble, that’s why he doesn’t want any part of the founding council.

The mayor never activated his curse. He had the werewolf gene but never turned into an actual werewolf because he never took anybody's life. But even just having the gene would affect you like it did him and Tyler last season.

Tylers dad never triggered the curse so he never turned into a wolf, and he clearly didn’t even know he was one. Mason didn’t know he had the gene either or that werewolves even existed until her triggered his curse. Werewolves do age, the word werewolf means half man half wolf so they are just normal humans who turn into wolves on a full moon. They do heal but not as fast as vampires. And vervain does physically hurt katherine when it touches her skin but she’s been drinking a little everyday so that her system is more used to it so that it does immobilize and weaken her for a longer period of time😊

i think stefan and katherine are better too i prefer elena and damon and stefan and katherine they offer more interesting dynamics while i think stefan and elena are cute, i feel like they are more compatible as friends i also think it's the thing where stefan and elena both kind of brood so they need to be with someone who is NOT like that to bring their energy level up

Without adding spoilers, the 3 things to me, that really standout in this episode are.... Katherine's picture, Stefan saying Katherine looks like an Angel, and lastly, Katherine's true feelings for Stefan Katherine nailed it, why did Stefan keep that picture when he supposedly hated her... Stefan has never said that Elena looks like an Angel but told Katherine ( to much into this without giving a spoiler ) Katherines look as he tells her he is in love with her, looks like he made her get intouch with her humanity and lower her defenses for her to feel again, to where she is able to tell him she loves him and they will be together again. Katherine doesn't show very much emotion, has very few weaknesses, and feel that Stefan is truly the one person for whom you see the soft, caring and loving side of Katherine come out when she's with him

I always thought Damons love for Elena were more real than Stefan's love for her. Stefan got close to Elena because she looked like Katherine. Damon always saw how different Elena and Katherine were. He fell in love with Elena because she was different of Katherine.

In season 1 elena confronted Stefan about why Katherine looks exactly like her, and also what does she mean to Stefan, and Stefan said once he saved her from the car crash, he couldn’t believe Katherine and elena looked like each other, but after months of the accident he followed her which is creepy, but wanted to make sure she wasn’t Katherine and that he knew they were the opposite of each other, so his love for elena was real. Damon was the one obsessed with Katherine in season 1, but fell in love with elena also.

With the vervain situation Katherine was faking the whole time with Stefan just to spend quality time with him... She been training herself to tolerate it for years and it don't faze her anymore! You guys really have to remembered the past episodes because certain things do come back into play later on in the seasons. So it's best for you to pay attention, remember and stop talking over the important dialogue just listen....Can't see how some of the KZbinrs that react to TV shows forget things that happened in the past or last episodes 😂 lol.
