Damon’s reaction when Bonnie finally chose. The fact that she couldn’t until the final moment shows how close she is to them. I think if it was swapped and enzo was halfway pulling Damon’s heart out it would be Damon she chose- because although Enzo is someone she loves, Damon has a strong connection not just to her but to her through Elena as well, so her choice would be for Elena as well as she’s selfless
