It is common problem with the short Q&As at Comic Con; typically the most popular member of a cast will field most of the questions. They compensate with the meet-and-greets and all the floor interviews they have during the weekend. (Notice Julie Plec's voice being so hoarse.)

Stelena is my OTP and they were passionate and intense and epic and beautiful and I think had way more chemistry than Delena but they're over, they are so clearly over and neither Julie nor Caroline Dries seem intent on having them reconnect romantically so I'm good with Steroline who are big and bright and warm and light and fun but stable, they see each other through and calm each other down and lighten each other's loads so it'd be nice to see that onscreen.

You're like making me depressed. ): I just think it's not SE's time right now and I think with Damon being gone,Elena will be forced to move on from him. Damon will probably be really different when he comes back anyways so he might not see Elena the same way for all we know. If season 6 is not the last season then I wouldn't say SE is over and done with for good. They just need time apart and I think Steroline will be interesting to see but Elena really needs to work on some of her actions because her character is just a mess right now.

TVD&Life1 OK I think that SE would be a beautiful endgame and I think it legitimately makes sense because Stefan gives her what she needs, as Nina said once, he feeds her soul, she has said that he knows her better than anyone, she has asked if she and Damon will ever be able to talk like they do and even though she said "like friends" I think it speaks to the fact that she wonders if she can get from Damon the kind of intimacy she can only get from Stefan, I think he's her emotional keeper, and I think they share true passion. I want them to be endgame. But the lengths Julie and Caroline have gone to make Delena the primary relationship in the show tells me that Stelena won't be endgame; they went against canon this season, they made Stefan put down his relationship with Elena to make Delena seem more "real" this season, they have essentially wiped away all of Stelena's history and chemistry because it's not like Stefan and Elena were just like this superficial tiny relationship, he fought compulsion for her, she stood by him through no-humanity, they went through so much together and loved each other so deeply and remnants of that should still be there, you can't have a relationship with lines like "It's always going to be Stefan" or "that kind of love never dies" or "the only thing stronger than your craving for blood is your love for this one girl" and have absolutely no tension between the two people but it's like all of that has been wiped away, they write Stelena and Delena like Stelena were always friends and Delena always loved each other and only loved each other and that just gives me little faith that SE will reconnect.

ZalRB1 I definitely agree. I know it's hard to not feel hopeless when the show has basically turned into the delena diaries. But if given the choice,I'm sure Nina would definitely choose Stefan to be endgame with Elena. I totally feel you about how wrong it would feel if DE were endgame. Like it wouldn't make any sense to me. This is supposed to be Stefan's story and now he's not even main focus. Especially last season! You would think it would be mainly about him but nope,only for about 7 episodes. I feel like the writers are making it logical with her trying to get over Damon first before jumping to Stefan. It sucks because I hate it when she jumps between brothers but she needs to get Stefan back. That love was so pure and sweet,especially hot when it was actually appropriate unlike another ship we all know and hate..I don't understand how people say being with Damon makes her more 'mature'. If anything she was more mature back in season 1 & 2,not to mention stronger. Sad how she's now physically so strong but back when she was human,her willpower and bravery was honestly so beautiful. The one who fought for her family and friends while wanting to keep her humanity. Now she's just this mess who thinks 'being a vampire rocks'. The only way I can look at this is,the old Elena is dead and that Elena chose to be with Stefan. I try not to care about the new annoying Elena who only cares about Damon and nobody else. Like come on,I can tell you a secret Elena! BONNIE DIED TOO. NOT JUST DAMON.

I mean, they're SO right to do that, I don't get it, it's like all of a sudden The Vampire Diaries turned into "The Damon/Ian Diaries". I just hate the fact that he's talking too much,interrupting others (not just at this panel, but at several interviews of the trio, too), and sometimes he gets repetitive like when he says how much he loves his fans etc. At some point, it starts to get tiring and ridiculous. Kaylan Floyd I didn't mean he's talking behind he's back. Everyone thinks that there's this inside joke among the cast members about Ian talking too much, and it's been obvious since last years TV Line interview. Paul, Candice and Kat were listening to Ian talking for several minutes, and at some point they started throwing gazes at each other and then burst into laughing. You should watch it, you'll se what I mean. Ian knows that he talks too much, and the cast makes fun of him for that, obviously, and he knows that too!

And once again, Ian never stops talking. I know most people find it funny, bacause, what a surprise, they love Ian, and the cast handles it with humor as well, but it's so freaking annoying. Yes, I did notice that most of the questions were for him, and I find it sooo unfair. Also, Paul might be sarcastic when answering questions, but after he makes a joke he answers normally.And the thing is that Ian doesn't do that only when the question is about him. If you watch TV Line's interview from last years comic con, you'll see that he answers to a question that is about Paul's character, Silas. And he talks too much, and once again, the cast is laughing about it.

Ok. This is my honest opinion about this show. Warning: This is a very long comment! Sorry. The writers really need to their s*** sorted. Since Damon & Elena hooked up the entire show has gone downhill. Their relationship has ruined both characters and the show is no longer good because of it. I don't consider myself a "shipper", I just tell it like it is. But for all you delusional Delena fans: Ian & Nina are great together but that does not mean that their characters on a fictional show would be good together. We got proof of that as soon as Elena & Damon hooked up. I'm using the term "hooked up" because I can't say "fell in love" since we never saw that. They are NOT a good couple. More importantly they're not a love story that is interesting to watch or rewarding to invest in. Elena and Damon had better chemistry when they weren't a couple then they do as a couple. That's a RED FLAG writers! Stefan and Elena's relationship was written and developed beautifully. The viewer could not only get behind it, the viewer could *feel* it. Their love was palpable. It was a real love story. It was the realest thing on the show! It was the thing that every supernatural or sci-fi show needs: a human connection to keep the show grounded. That's what Stefan & Elena's relationship did. It kept TVD grounded and the show was great for the first 3 and a half seasons. As soon as Elena started bouncing back and forth between the brothers and having feelings (or should I say the fan-service boner for Delena!?) for Damon, it all went to hell. What's worse, Delena didn't just ruin the characters of Damon and Elena, it also ruined the love between Stefan & Damon and the friendship between Caroline, Elena and Bonnie. These writers really need to think about this going forward. I truly hope that the TVD story can be saved. It was such a good show and I hope it can be again, in the near future. We are now at the halfway point (considering that the show started to suck midway through S3). So that's 2 and a half great seasons and 2 and a half awful seasons. If the writers can course correct, it's now or never. Season 6 should be the defining season of this show and I hope that the writers try their damnedest to save it. I don't know if Kevin Williamson should come and do a season-long plan that the other writers have to follow but something needs to be done. Stop with the teen fan-service and the placating already and put out a proper story that makes sense on an emotional and linear storytelling level! They keep talking about the show "evolving" but for the show to truly evolve Elena should really stay single for at least half a season. Caroline and Stefan should grow as friends and not regress by hooking up. It would make more sense for the characters if Caroline ended up with Klaus and not her best friend Stefan. Give the audience ONE male/female relationship that doesn't involve sex! Get rid of dead weight characters like Tyler, Jeremy and Matt or develop them properly! Give them a storyline that doesn't involve saving or being slaves to Elena! Most of all, make Elena likeable again. She is the main female character, the heroine, the audience surrogate. Give her proper character growth instead of OOC 180's. Give her some semblance of stability as a lead female. Give Damon a self discovery storyline that doesn't involve murdering in the name of Elena. Show Bonnie some mercy by giving her growth and respect from the people she's continuously given her blood, sweat, tears, love and life for! Give Stefan an actual storyline. He has barely had any development since season 4. These are all things that can be done and I truly hope the writers are in their right minds to do them.

I think it would be interesting to see Stefan and Elena in New Orleans during this war that going on, just to get away for a while and wrap their head the death of Damon, since they can't enter Mystic Falls. In my opinion it would be kinda neat for them to see what's happening with Elijah and Klaus, and see their reaction to what they find out about Klaus becoming a father and that Hayley, the werewolf girl they met threw Tyler, is the mother of that baby. What I want is to see their opinion to this, to see if they will help fight with them or along side them. I really believe it would be nice.

Honestly i expected more out of the panel and i wish they spoke about the events that happened in season 5 more instead of just the end few episodes and more of the middle section and beginning. There weren't even to many questions about season 6 tbh and i feel like better questions could have been asked, Ian got to many questions not related to the show and the whole panel looked bored. I wish Candice and Steven had attended..

yeah, she was doing The Look to Paul, every time Ian talked...that`s not very buddy like from Paul either. And the comment about why she is no longer with Matt was very low...even if is fictional. She is not in a good place right now and sad that made it so clear, she divided the table, they didn't look like a group witch made it really uncomfortable to look.

In all honestly I think Delena is endgame. I have complete respect for the Stelena relationship as I think it was an epic love story but the progression of Damon&Elena's journey from hate-love is what has really driven the central love triangle. Julie may have said that nothing is impossible and perhaps, if Damon is unable to return to Elena then eventually she may end up with Stefan. But I believe her heart will always belong to Damon #DEstiny
