Fantastic! I've been aware of the Hagan band for years and been aware of how hot their jazz is for a while. Mostly due to knowing of two sidemen from the band and tracking their stories. Jack Towne, a reedman that had been there since November '26 during the founding, same thing with Frank Cush, a trumpeter. We may be hearing them here, maybe not.
