One point to be noted is that there is, in fact, a mainstream 'sect' (or reform movement) within India (primarily northern India, around Punjab and Haryana) that still practices the Vedic religion and prays to the Vedic Gods: the Arya Samaj.

Great introduction to the lore and the life-affirming nature to derive from it - but I would like to add some interjections if you don't mind. The Vedic ethnogenesis at the outset was likely a syncretic exchange of cultural ideas of Andronovo horizon with the Harappans and the BMAC per the current ethnogenesis. Vedic Sanskrit already has several loanwords from the dead BMAC and Dravidian languages. So, it is culturally "mixed" at the beginning. The middle/later Vedic Gods are of a Rigvedic strain itself and are already present in the Epics in a big way - Shiva is Rudra and has several parallels to other IE hunter-mendicant Gods like Odin. Hanuman is a Striker God with connections to Vayu, Rudra, Indra, Agni and Vishnu - with a prototype existing in the form of Vrshakapi from RV book 10. Kali is a fierce, avenging aspect of the IE wife of the Sky Father archetype; akin to Demeter / Persephone / Skadi. Vak and Nirriti are also proto-Kali type figures in the RV and AV.

Our perspectives on Kali will differ, and that is fine. In 2024 I basically consider Kali-worship (especially by Westerners) to be feminist/Satanic. There is something wrong mentally with any man from the West who wants to worship a murdering female deity. In the east, the background and perspective and context are different -- so I don't make the same kinds of judgments about that. Of course, Solar Idealists are not looking at these figures as gods to actually, literally worship, but as ideals, so that kind of female ideal is not useful for our work.

Regarding the Andronovo comment -- I am very open to various theories and the information seems to change all the time. From my research, there seems to be a growing consensus that there was a lot of back-and-forth migration and intermingling of populations, which undermines the old "Aryan invasion" perspective. It seems to have been a more gradual thing. I am glad to see this, as it better reflects reality as I understand it, and I am no friend of the people who are obsessed with Proto-Indo-Europeans because they want to believe that one magical group of "white" people created everything good and interesting and beautiful and heroic in the world. I definitely do not believe that. In reality, groups of people intermingle and influence each other. We can see this all around us now and there is every reason to believe that people have always been this way.

@orderoffire if you are open to new ideas then I think you should explore these articles by Dr. Talageri. As you have said in the video, book 6,3,7,4,2 are the earliest family book of Rigveda. Well, guess what in Dr. Talageri showed that COMMON ELEMENT BETWEEN Rigveda, Avesta, Mitanni correspond to LATER NEW BOOKS. but under AIT one would expect that such COMMON ELEMENT should be more in the old book period, a period closer to the time when mitanni, indo-iranians and indo-Aryans diverged according to AIT model Check this talageri.blogspot.com/2016/07/the-recorded-history-of-indo-european_27.html

Let make it clear, theory that Aryan were European or something it has proven completely wrong with the new findings of chariots in India ( Sinalui). That proves that India has horses.we had chariots older than any known civilization on earth. It will take time to be removed in textbooks about this Arayan invasion or picnic theory. Why don't you start with your video.
@sahilsingh60483 ай бұрын
Sinauoi chariots werent chariots , but carts , carts are different from chariots, the wheels belonged to carts , its confirmed , and before you Raise Saraswati arguement , its also a misconception created by pseudo historians.

@@sree18697 Ahh! I was wrong. I was only aware of the one available in the Yajurved. Even then, this mantra doesn't have anything to do with Shiva, not even a single time his name appears. Saying Rudra (tryambakam) is Shiva is nothing but kanging at best. Just like Gujjars and Rajputs, both lay claim over Gurjar Pratihara Dynasty while the actual kings from that dynasty never claimed to be belonging to either. Rigvedic gods have become like the Gurjar Pratihara dynasty. Every ooga booga cult lays it's claim over the rigvedic deities as the embodiments of their particular cult gods. Be is Vaishnavas, Shaivas, Shoktians, lingayats or shrouta smaratas. It was the post Rigvedic soyciety which started equating shiva with the mighty Rudra of Rigvedas. Atleast the pre-rigvedic as well as the rigvedic aryans never worshipped anybody named Shiva. Anyway, you are too much preoccupied with your illusions and I don't like entertaining illusionary dindu trads.

Very superficial take. Exoteric only. Perhaps explore Sri Aurobindo's discourse on the twin meanings of the word "go". And when Vak speaks you ought to listen and realize its not all male oriented at all...
@orderoffire4 ай бұрын
It is meant to be exoteric. This is not for people who are interested in the esoteric, idiosyncratic takes of the many, many cults within cults associated with the Vedic and Hindu gods or various political movements with their own spins which all claim to be authoritative. It is a broad overview for Solar idealists. You have to WANT the Vedic material to be "female oriented" in the same way that Christians want Jesus to be masculine to say that it is "not male oriented." 95% of the material is about male gods.
@priyanshukaushik85864 ай бұрын
@@orderoffire The Rigvedic hymns are all high on masculinity. A good amount of epithets given to father Indra are all about strength and virility. Agni is literally called son of strength, Indra called the bvll and bull like. The thing is native scholars have completely subverted the meanings of these hymns and has attributed superficial and imaginary shitposts to same. The Vedas were labelled as 'apaurushiya' i.e. 'not composed by humans' as to mean 'words of god', thereby converting the Vedic literature into some sort of ooga booga stuff which eventually became contextually irrelevant. In my opinion, Hindus and Christians are quite similar. Christians worship a literal zoo and Hindus worship literal unarya (non-aryan) gods. Had the Arya ancestors been alive, they would have massacred the present day heendoos for being disloyal to the vedic pantheon. Them guys literally were fighting among each other for whether Indra is supreme or Varuna (the Zoroastrian cult is based on lord Varuna) and these guys converted both of these prime gods into minions who are, hardly of any use anymore.
