very authentic description .This method of knowing god is also called as DIRECT EXPERIENCE . other methods to know the things are indirect ways, as it involves senses through which we gather the knowledge.Only god can be known directly without the medium of senses.

very powerful and profound, "logic on our terms" is but another fruit of knowledge of good and evil, whereby grace is of the tree of life (going back to Genesis origins- even to Exodus, by the Law, man dies, by Grace, man lives.) I woke up paradoxically both perplexed and at peace- and thus I asked for truth, and believed I would receive. Then the word came to me telling me to search for "vedic view". Thank you friend.

*Amazing* clarity of understanding and expression ❤️ Least did I expect such quality content on the subject matter to come from a Westerner and the West! But then, it's meant to be a cycle perhaps with the USA having seen the height of materialistic prosperity and yet falling short of spiritual fulfillment (i.e true inner well-being) destined to become the new region of seekers who would bring BACK the lost eternal truth to the rest of the world (including its land of origin "Bharath", a superset of present day India which unfortunately lost its way somewhere in history and is now well and truly on the failed path of materialism following the footsteps of the West). Hinduism today has unfortunately reduced to tokenisms with conveniently altered rituals and parrotted chants by people who have little or no understanding whatsoever of the philosophy behind, and I am sure it is on its way to a decline in this format. Being someone who does not feel like listening to most of the so called Spiritual gurus (many of who are frauds) of today, I find myself listening to only Sadhguru with whom I have connected fairly well in the last few years. But I seem to have reached a saturation point in what I expect to hear from him by now as it often tends to be abstract, repetitive and seemingly promoting individualism which can only lead to chaos that is the opposite of harmony. So, I have been interested in knowing the details of Sanatana Dharma (which I expect to translate to a way of life) of late which I understand has had no single document or unifying work in the history of Hinduism. I believe the evils plaguing the Hindu society today are a consequence of the absence of a concrete manifestation of the (what I deem is abstract or even potentially not well-defined) principles of Dharma about which there is no understanding or agreement (which is the only thing that can lead to harmony!) among the supposed followers of the religion. From the couple of videos I have seen so far of yours, I connect very well with your thoughts and expression. I plan to hear a few more (3 Vedic paths, Dharma scriptures, Relationships etc). Keep at it, Sir!

A crucial distinction, between oneness with God, and becoming God. You've made it beautifully. Unfortunately the distinction is often blurred or negated by gurus in Sanatana Dharma. At least, to the Western mind, it appears that way. I once visited a Hindu temple, and about 10 minutes after I arrived, I was informed that I am God. I promptly left. I enjoy being human too much, to want to BE God. If I were God, there would be no room for humility, and the latter is indispensable to spirituality.

But why are we are advised that the spiritual master is the medium to God?
@DharmaNation8 жыл бұрын
+KRISHNAmelodies Hare Krsna, Krishnamelodies. The spiritual master is, indeed, the medium through which we know God. However, any legitimate spiritual master has based his entire life upon the teachings of the Vedic scriptures. This is precisely how we know that a guru truly is authentic, and not a fraud. We are to base our spiritual practice upon the teachings of both the true guru, AND the guidance of the Vedic scriptures. Sri Acharyaji is a true, authentic and legitimate spiritual master, for example, precisely because everything he says and does is based upon Shastra - the Vedic scriptures. Jaya Sri Krsna.
