I don’t even drink beer and love my Vegemite. But I grew up on the stuff. Vegemite and cheese is one of the best food combos ever. Especially toasted

Vegemite was made using the left over yeast from beer brewing with added salt and it was found to have "health benefits" (it had a good amount of b group vitamins)

Vegemite is pretty much fermented barley. Miso is fermented wheat, and soy sauce is fermented beans. No accident their tastes share some similarities.
