Good to see a British firm doing well in a fiercely contested area. Don't have to be big to be the best. Well done Supacat ...

I don't know about you but I feel like that high visibility camouflage at 1:20 isn't going to do much camouflaging

Hands all those who want to crew a lightly armored recovery vehicle, whose job will be to recover vehicles while under direct enemy fire?

Why not have the equipment lockers on the inside?? As the lady says, recovery ops may have to be done under fire....Last thing I'd want to be doing when the bullets are flying would be to be rummaging through equipment lockers outside the vehicle.....

navnig Most armoured (light or heavy) have always had storage on the outside. Lack of space on the inside. If your operating outside the vehicle, it’s easier to get to the external lockers than keep having to get out of the vehicle, then back in to get something. Having externally accessible equipment also means other troops on the ground outside the vehicle can access the equipment.

It doesn't seem to be heavily armored to trying to pull out a shovel in a confined space looks like a pretty quick and stupid way to die.

TheLaualamp This particular vehicle isn’t heavily armoured. But for vehicles like this (and others), the operators HAVE to get out of the vehicle to carry out their role/missions. Imagine all those tools/equipment flying round inside when off road. Yes they are strapped down, but are just waiting for heads to be banged against them. Another advantage of putting equipment on the outside in storage is that it provides a tiny pit more protection from small arms/shrapnel flying about. We only put equipment required on the inside that the crew need - radios, ammunition, cooking equipment, etc.

Two reasons, the army doesn't rummage, they know where everything is, and can you imagine trying to drag lifting gear in and out of that beast? She only opened the locker with the light stuff in it, chocks and ground anchors are going to be 20kg each

Why is this sales video on this channel?

That tends to be what happens when you want an explanation of product; you get the sales pitch. Unless you contact the company in advance, then you'l just get the regular sales pitch as well.

Because some people find the items interesting. It’s unlikely that any spotty faced video games player will buy one of these.

"Recovery under fire" Nothing like some nice brightly-coloured equipment to paint a target, eh?

If the REME recovery guy is being shot at it's more important than he can find what he's looking for quickly, i.e different kit colour coded, by that point it aint going to make the blindest bit of difference what colour the accessories are; you could have the truck painted pink. He just needs to be able to do his task as quickly as he can.
