The 'creamer' isn't a creamer but probably a wine carafe for a single glass. These are common in Umbria and Tuscany - the handle with its yellow striping is typical. Don't worry about chipping along the rime - very typical and the value is in the aesthetic of the piece. The fish/horn thing is curiosity indeed but the 'fish' part is known from the times of antiquity and often designed into items of the rococo period, is a dolphin - often seen in fountains in Spain and Italy. Hello from Scotland UK. I like your channel - we don't have huge thrift shops here and flea markets are most usually rather smallish affairs.

Thank you Karen for speaking about vintage lingerie! I starting picking up some.pieces here in my area southern Ontario. Many had that union made tag and I wasent sure what to think of that if it was a good thing or not so good ! Turns out I went with my gut instincts and priced on the higher end and many sold for my asking price. I've been fortunate enough to find the gown and robes that match in my stores! Absolutely, before I knew what was what I was in a Goodwill one day and picked up a quite large piece of copper and put it in my basket. Walked around with it for a bit not noticing that a man was following me so when I put it down he picked it up and literally ran to the cashier. How stupid was I because it was a magnificent piece but, I have learned my lesson

GA Karen. Great video and that is called a Hex sign or barn star. The markings, colors, and designs on hex signs are believed by many to protect the barns and the animals housed inside from fire, lightning, sickness and the work of evil spirits, demons and witchcraft. This video brought back great memories for me. In 1984 when I was stationed at Ft. Campbell I lived off base and right across my apartment was a big flea market opened every weekend, so much fun. The 'cameo' helmet shells were made in Italy as tourist items. They often depicted Naples, with a view of Mt. Vesuvius. This looks to have been a night light or accent light and probably had a metal base, or possibly one made of another shell.
