The skyscrapers on the tiny part of Pudong opposite the Bund are often photographed, but what is truly astounding is the massive expanse of built up areas you traverse along the many motorways, boulevards and rail lines as you venture further afield. It's a colossal city.

This is a superb narrative of one of the earliest futuristic cities, told from its early beginnings as a civilised water town and the music at the end is captivatingly China, with its long history of ho, humans overcome the rise and fall of dynasties and suffering but strive to achieve miraculous super engineering feats to harmonize with the power of nature from the humble grass to the mighty elements. We watch, breathless and totally captivated at the end. Is that the Butterfly music score? Yoyoma's ensemble?

@@darrenrobinson9347 It is not to be compared. The two come from different time and certainly dont have the same charm. Better you travel a bit Darren. There is nothing about Wuzhen that has the same charm and romanticsim as Venice. Wuzhen is older and maybe more interesting historically...
