I always cringe at people talking poorly on "cheap" watches around the $300-$600 mark when this may easily be a semester's wage for someone in poorer countries. Of course earnings and prices are relative, but some people in the watch communities should be aware and less snobbish.
@malligrub2 жыл бұрын
All snobbery aside, that's just a lovely watch. Also nice to acknowledge that $650 is an insane amount of money for most people on planet Earth, but they are not looking at buying a piece of decorative metal for their wrist (with an iphone in their pocket). For people buying swiss watches, this is insane value, almost ludicrously cheap.

I bought mine a couple of weeks ago as a 'I've never owned an expensive watch before' purchase. My previous watch was £12.50 from Ebay but the 'hour hand' didn't really point at the number corresponding with the actual hour, which made telling the time a bit hit-and-miss. I was at Gatwick and thought I'd treat myself to a 'proper watch'. Having just watched this I'm glad I made the right decision.
