This is a solid, well-presented and detailed review. The key to the watch is "boring." (Too many watches are.) Many collectors study watches, identify a watch they want, research like crazy and then buy it. I tend to stroll through boutiques, and look at a brand's offerings in person. I look for an emotional connection; an appeal to my person tastes. Grand Seiko stores are bad places for me to be. Omega? I made the mistake of looking at the white speedmaster. I have no interest in "boring." This watch is not boring. I managed to try it on before I bought it.

I just found this video and am interested to see what it has to offer. I already have 2 of these watches and love them. Beautiful, reasonably accurate wears easily. The only little negative is that they are a difficult to hand wind. At least for me.

Looked it up: it’s not a minutes hand, it functions as a secondary hour hand, it’s used for traveling so you can set your watch to both local time and home time.

I can dig the BR03 Copper but prefer the ceramic diver - I think the bezel helps even the watch out.
