I have a burgundy "Mr Rogers" cardigan sweater and I was so "hesitant" to wear it until I discovered your channel. I bravely wore it to work with a shirt and tie and received so many "compliments". Being a substitute teacher, I believe the teenage students were not used to it and probably reminded some of "fond" memories of their grandfathers😁. For my adult co-workers, it probably brought back "nostalgia" of the 70's- mid 90's in a "collegiate" setting. Thanks as usual John😊❤🎉💯.

Since I live in a warmer climate, I've been happy to discover a number of lighter-weight sweater options. Even thinner material can have texture. For example, the sweater I'm wearing right now is knitted from burgundy yarn intermixed with gray yarn. That combination provides a subtle diagonal texture.

Great video. In the northeast sweaters are a must but I always have a hard time finding the right fit. Sleeves tend to run long for me and I'm not a fan of the "1-fold at the end of the sleeve look" but I have to do it.

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about it. That clothing is strictly functional and not necessarily very good looking on any guy. Just go with what’s comfortable, then promptly change out of it when you’re done with your workout and put on something more dapper :)

Hey John, I love sweaters, especially quarter zips. I see that in wearing sweaters or long sleeve polo shirts, you like to pull the sleeves up your forearm, which is a nice look, but doesn’t that stretch out the ends of the sleeves, causing a problem when wearing them with the sleeves down to your wrists? Thanks, and keep up the good work.

It can sometimes stretch them out a bit depending on the brand, but I just accept that as a necessary evil!

Soooo, here's a question...Im 6'5" and normally wear a 2X for everything. When wearing sweaters for example- should the sweater be at the belt line or just a tad below? What's the right appearance in terms of the bottom of the sweater and where it falls? Thx

It depends on the sweater. If it’s a pullover, I would say at the beltline, or just covering the belt. If it’s a cardigan, those are going to be a bit longer.
