Allah azzawajjal will forgive shirk if the person repents from it before he dies but if the person passes away in the condition of shirk aouzhubillah then allah subhanahuawa’tala won’t forgive him

Whoever commits major shirk that puts a person beyond the pale of Islam must repent sincerely from that, put his actions straight and correct his intention. It is also prescribed for him to do ghusl after repenting, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded Qays ibn ‘Aasim to do that when he became Muslim. (Narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi and al-Nasaa’i; classed as saheeh by Ibn al-Sakan. Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 5/317

The scholars agree that if the repentance is sincere and you absolve not to go back to shirk, you will be forgiven. I have referenced the fatwa for you here. Check with a credible scholar please.

slaam brother i want to ask you something im not sure if i did shirk or not theres this website called peter answers which is baisically a virtual tarot it answers any of your questions before you ask it says you have to say you believe in it like three times which i did but i never said that i worship it or anything like that i knew what i was doing which was wrong so is this considered shirk or kufr i did repent from it and took the shahada again so will allah forgive me for this. will shirk be forgiven as long as i repent and not die upon it i know what i did was wrong just really worried dont want to go hell i look forward hearing back from you thanks.

The issue is that in the video, the Sheikh did not mention the fact that it's only if a person dies in a state of shirk that he cannot be forgiven. So as long as you are alive, you can even repent after committing shirk. Also, just because you believe in someone or something, doesn't mean that you're making a correlation between it and Allah. I can believe in my parents, my friends etc. That is not Shirk. Repent just in case, but don't overthink brother and may Allah forgive you Inshallah.

The greatest sin, Shirk: associating partners with Allah: eg: Jesus Christ The greatest sin isn't not believing Allah exists. (Atheism) The greatest sin isn't blasphemy against Allah or his Prophet. The greatest sin isn't murder, adultery etc. The greatest sin: Being a christian Allah must be very sensitive to having someone take credit for his work. What would you think about an earthly loving father, if he says: "I don't mind if my children curse me, or ignore my existence, but the greatest sin that my children can commit against me, is calling someone else "Father" Allah's virtues and virtue should at least be better than human values.
