So your issue was that the Radeon Software was always downgrading the version to the point where you cant open games? Cause i have that issue on W10😭 Gonna try this method

If it happens again just go to device manager click on your graphics card and check to see if it enabled if not then inable that bad boy lmao 😆 think thier is a bios update out of order for amd but ya 2 sec and all good had the same problem looked online couldn't find the problem everyone kept saying same thing try revert or refresh and we'll with slow internet u get super annoyed so ya hope thus works for u

for those who have to install the drive again and again it's bc windows update the amd drivers to an unsupported version, what worked for me and now I have no problems is that I did a clean installation of the amd driver and using a microsoft open source program to hide the windows update display drivers, this way windows won't update the amd driver automatically and it works fine

You should also turn off the automatic download of manufactures apps in Advanced system settings > Hardware > Device installation Settings > NO Otherwise the cycle will repeat after every update.

It did not work as im unabke to downlograde driver but what worked for me (Windows 10 and Windows 11) 1. Uninstall Existing AMD Radeon Software (Either from App list or else from "show hidden icon" option) 2. Restart system 3. Either Radeon will automatically get installed or else download "AMD Radeon Software" and reinstall My issue got fixed Issue is not because of driver, Issue is because of the AMD software version

Rollback driver not an option (not highlightable) for me in Device Manager. Gonna have to do a factory reset of AMD software, instead. Many videos like this on internet, and most probably help most people.... Just not in my case, as it's not even an option for me to do (win 11). Not complaining on video help, but just letting others know my situation, in case they have the same scenario. Kudos for uploading anyway...Appreciate the effort!!

This did not work for me. I rolled back and the version went went to the newest but than quickly changed to a lower version. I restarted the computer and it I am getting the same error again. The rollback button is now grayed out.

For some reason when I do this it then returns to this error after shutting down the PC. It also disbled my display adapter. When I tried to turn it on it said that Microsoft could not load the drivers for it. So I then clicked the update driver option. Which of course led me back to the same problem and I don't get the option to roll back the update.

Having same issue here with latest Adrenalin 22.3.2 and the strange Microsoft driver 30.0.21000.22018 , they have the same conflict , If I roll back microsoft driver, and regain Adrenalin software some games like Marvel's Guardians of the galaxy completely disable the Ray tracing options , I'm using a RX 6800XT ..........any ideas ?

Shortcut: Just right click the start menu and you have device manager there. *To prevent this error from happening again:* 1. Open Start menu -> 2. Type and click on: View Advanced System Settings 3. Go to Hardware tab 4. Click Device Installation Settings 5. Set to No Done. Be sure to update your drivers manually from now on. Like Nvidia and AMD and others.
