Hi Maxine!👋 I love your enthusiasm❤... I too share a deep passion for Astrology. I am trying to better understand the vertex and Antivertex, and this has been very helpful! I use whole sign houses, and in this house system, I have my vertex in the 6h, which for me is Capricorn. It is also where my Sun, Mercury, and Neptune sits in my natal chart...My chart ruler is also my sun placement in Capricorn 6H (Leo Asc here)... I definitely agree that I truly do Love & enjoy being if service to others! I feel compelled to be supportive and helpful to others, and to help others to heal their emotional wounds. I am an empath, and I often take on other people's burdens as my own, but I really enjoy helping/ healing people. I am still a little unclear as to what ways the significance of my Antivertex in my 12h (which for me is Cancer) might manifest. Can you help me with some examples? Also! As for my significant other and I, it seems really significant after looking into this subject and our charts, that His Antivertex in his Capricorn 2H, is conjunct My Vertex, Sun, Mercury, & Neptune in My Capricorn 6H! And then My Antivertex in my Cancer 12H is conjunct His Vertex, Moon & Saturn in His Cancer 8H... 😯 Soo many things to unpack there with our charts, I think, lol... but maybe you can share some insight with me?! 🙏💖

Thanks for explaining this to us. Reading about the vertex/anti-vertex can be so dry that I don't seem able to remember what I've read. I just found a calculator for this: 5th house Vertex Aquarius/11th house anti-vertex Leo. OH! These are empty houses in my natal chart and I've been wondering why those houses, especially the 5th house seems so active in my life, theme wise!

This is so helpful right now as I have my Vx in Leo 8th house (with BMLilith nearby) conjunct Vx transiting there on the 16th during the eclipse in Scorpio (for me in 11th and Sun transiting in 5th)... I am trying to figure out what it all means but I am guessing it's about a relationship, might get intense... as that eclipse with sun in 5th house also applies to my natal Mercury there and that relationship is long distance for now... I am trying to acquaint myself with more terminology and the basics and take it from there. I just saw the word vertex yesterday for the first time. Thank you for the explanation. Question: when you read for the United States which date do you go by. I have seen 2 other astrologers on KZbin. One goes by July 4 and the other by the date the Constitution was signed. He did a reading on what is going on Jan and Feb of 2020. It wii affect us all too. Could you perhaps do a reading on that? But with different dates for US could result in 2 different scenarios on how experienced or what could show up?

The US chart I have used for decades is the July 4th chart with 7 Gemini rising. Each astrologer has his/her preferred chart. I plan to stick with this one. I am doing quarterly forecasts on the USA and will get to 2020 at the end of 2019.

The South Node is what you have mastered, i.e., what you are good at. Use both nodes for the true picture.

However, I have VX in Aquarius in the 4th house so Leo AVX which makes sense since I have Leo midheaven on my 10th house of career (Scorpio Rising, Aquarius Moon). My Libra Sun freakin sits on my 12th house with Mercury & Uranus and Pluto I think. I feel like I'm losing time, don't know what's my fuckin mission here lolz. Great video, learned a lot. I still have a specific question about my chart: my Vertex is the 8th degree of Gemini (in the 8th house). My Mercury is on the 8th degree of Sagittarius, therefore exactly conjunct the anti-Vertex. Would this mean I have total control of my Mercury/mind? Fixed stars Antares at 9 degrees Sag opposite Aldebaran at 9 degrees Gemini may be important too.

No, not necessarily. Tie in the 2nd house of finances, possessions and values and you'll see the bigger picture. When your Anti-Vertex is activated you will put your ideas pertaining to finances your way. You will call the shots; the Vertex has others calling the shots.

Ughhhh i wish my Vertex was in the 5th. I have all these artistic talents and they got wasted. Feels like i was handed a scarlet letter. I got stuck with it being in the 7th. I HATE it.
