Big Verve fan here in the USA and why rock and music in general on that side of the pond DESTROYS the garbage that permeates our airwaves. Ashcroft is legend! Some people here in the States understand actual musical accomplishment.

@Sebmpg It's not much better here in the Uk, most people think they are some cheap carbon copy of Oasis with 4 songs (Bittersweet Symphony, The Drugs Don't Work, Lucky Man, Sonnet). And one album, Urban Hymns. These had a record deal and a studio album and E.P out before Oasis, and imo A Storm In Heave and A Northern Soul are better than Urban Hymns.
