How cool to get to tour a place that helped get you started in the hobby! That really black axanthic was awesome and that 1991 has a couple years on me! That's crazy to think a snake is older than oneself.

Years ago TSK put out a ball python breeder video. I originally purchased it on vhs. Their video along with VPI ball python breeding guide really helped me early on. Sure the videos are now outdated as far as morphs are concerned. But the husbandry and care info still applies. Amazing guide for new keepers that are thinking about getting into breeding. They did eventually release it on DVD. Not sure if you can still get it. If you can, I highly recommend it for new breeders. For the most part I've followed their advice, tweaked it to fit my needs. It would be great to see more of these videos featuring pioneers of the industry. Maybe Dave and Tracy, Pete, and Ralph.

You should do a video that answers the hard questions people wonder, like do they ever get out for full stretch, how can they really sell all those babies, the money side of the business and the true life of most of these animals. I know not many say it but I know they wonder.
@BrianKusko
@BrianKusko 4 жыл бұрын
I am more than willing to make that video answering these questions. If you care to expand on those questions in more detail please do. That way I can make a video that answers them in the most complete and inclusive context possible.
@BrianKusko
@BrianKusko 4 жыл бұрын
Maybe expand a bit on your stance. I.e., do you believe that these animals should A) not be sold at all or B) not be kept in captivity.
@officeemail7818
@officeemail7818 4 жыл бұрын
Brian Kusko thank you for that prompt and honest reply. First let me say I’m ok with responsible captivity, I guess I’m just torn about rack systems as a way of life, will those gorgeous snakes get outside time? A chance to move naturally at full length? what happens to unsold babies? Are snake breeders making money I believe not as much as some think, bad buyers, those types of things maybe just a video that clears up the behind the scenes questions.
