@@EvanHelblingYT See, my parents kinda waged war as far as my preference of them went 😂 My dad rented the PS2 version from Blockbuster, and ended up buying it because I loved it. My mom, in retaliation, got the GBA version on my birthday. It was very petty, but it at least taught me about portable ports. Kinda sad in a way that we don't get alternative versions of games anymore, since handhelds aren't really relevant nowadays. (switch doesn't count, I'm talking GBA, ds, PSP)

its crazy seeing footage of a game and suddenly remembering exact moments of playing this game. you'd think you would eventually forget details of where you where, what was going on, when you where playing the game. but I deadass remember sitting in my living room with all the furniture pulled away from the walls while my mom painted, it was dark and rainy outside, and I was playing the trench stages.

This was my childhood game, good memories playing it on my PS2 back in 2005-2008, and I remember it being hard especially the sliding levels with the timed rings. Kinda unfortunate its often overlooked in favor of Battle For Bikini Bottom.

My childhood spongebob game was that one game on the ps2 with alot of minigames like racing, fighting big plankton in a plane, play as plankton getting chased by a patty etc.

This was always a childhood favorite game of mine, and it's really a fun game to play through casually. The only really complaint I have with this game in the amount back tracking you have to do in order to progress on. The 50 token requirement in Knucklehead is ridiculous, considering there's only 67 tokens in the game. Other than that, the platforming levels are really enjoyable, and the sliding/driving have high replayability value

Yeah it was annoying having to backtrack towards the end, especially since the rock slide is a 5 min track everytime. They pretty much ruined a fun speedrun opportunity. Regardless it was still awesome to replay

Blockbuster had all the good games, I used to see Twisted Metal and hide bc the case scared me lol I left out all the side missions I did to get tokens, but the ring modes got to me towards the end

@@Noredlac_ I mean, why exactly? The emulator I use is pretty good for me. Just make some minor tweaks depending on the you want, buy some cheap controller and there it goes. The only thing emulation can't do like the actual console is play the game on a large screen TV, but even *that* can be fixed with some extra wirework.
