This RC thomas was made in poland because some trackmaster are made in poland for example max and this flip face rc thomas. In this polish factory they use spear parts. Idk If its true but this rumor is very likely.

I doubt it would be a prize as no others have ever surfaced (plus it came from Poland of all places, which seems like a weird place for Hit Toys to hold a campaign), so I think it being a factory test or employee gift is the likeliest scenario. I suppose it’ll remain one of life’s unanswered mysteries though

Wow, I never thought this mystery could get any deeper! I suppose we’ll never truly know what the deal is with this one-of-a-kind item. Why they would just toss it together out of spare parts but then decide to create a completely new sticker for it is pretty baffling too ... and it also seems the James Works It Out has the European safety symbol underneath?? Whatever the truth is, nice to see the 60th Anniversary Thomas running with the 65th rolling stock

Yes tRaw…you completely understand! No one would ever just part and piece out from two different models and then create a custom sticker for it would they? Why wouldn’t they just put the sticker on a normal flip face RC?

I have a theory to why the rc celebration Thomas has a different tender than the regular rc flip face model. I think that the seller where you bought the model from tried to repair the rc celebration flip face model by using different scraps from a broken froggy face model before selling it online. I think this could be the case because if you notice the internals of the celebration flip face model you can see that wiring is a little bit on the messy side (if you look at the repairs done by Trackmaster customs you'll notice that the wiring before the repairs looks neat and well put together while your celebration flip face looks messy and also notice the red tape covering the wires that connects to the tender and there is no white part that covers the exposed wire in middle of the rubber connectors that connect the engine to the tender.

If you look @9:17 right before it fades out , the white crimp part that I think you are taking about is reversed and is on the opposite side where the wiring.goes into the tender. As far as I know it was purchased from allegro.pl, then sold to me in the condition that you see. As far as how it got the Thomas name plate on the bottom, and the tender from the Froggy face version, it is possible that someone was so desperate for parts that they would have to mix and match pieces from two different engines, but it is unlikely, or that neither shell’s original sticker could have been salvaged or simply re-stickered with a standard replacement, rather than creating an entirely new design to put on a junk part engine…seems like a whole lot of extra work to me, but people are crazy, so I guess anything is possible.

It is very confusing because my theory was that maybe they could have adjusted a shell with those stickers into the flip face one but it is possible but it doesn't make since because none of the shells nor stickers match
