The Video Ends When I Win With Xin-Xi... | Polytopia Multiplayer 1v1

GullYY here. This was a big mistake. I did not realize what I was getting myself into here. Were some of these game winnable if I played better? Oh absolutely. But I didn't. So here we are. While some of the games were winnable, some of these also felt like downright spawn losses. Lakes has the potential to be one of the coolest map types, but unfortunately the terrain generation often ends up screwing someone over. This combined with the fact that I'm playing Xin-Xi, a tribe definitely not built for lakes, makes for an interesting experience. I hope you find joy from my suffering.

It’s a very difficult tribe to handle, as Oumaji is more of an aggressive expansion, Xin-Xi is more of a defensive investor! I’ll say I gotten way better training with this tribe due to having to chose the needed tech rather than the effective tech, like defenders with mountains shut down everything but you almost immediately need riders if your opponent stops training even 2 less units than last turn

Your misery makes me feel better. Some times its just one bad spawn after another. Had this with Elyron - one crap spawn after another - lost 3 games in a row. I've noted the smaller the map the more luck involved. Good game play though -

Despite what Mijiwan says, as an Asian, with Korean translations saying it’s pronounced Shin Shi, I say that’s the correct pronunciation

That's funny the Japanese translation also uses Shin Shi. It's very clearly based on China and in pinyin, the way Chinese is written in Roman letters, the 'x' makes a 'sh' sound. You can see it in the name of president Xi Jinping, the current leader of China. If midjiwan wanted it to be pronounced Chin Chi they should've used 'q' or 'ch' instead.

There's a reason I call xin-xi the lottery tribe. You need to get lucky to win with them :P. Playing on normal lakes is insult to injury, as that map has a ton of imbalanced spawns.
