Sweden was similar to Cuba in the sense that Cuba was providing humanitarian and political aid. Cooperation between them then can still be found in hospitals like the Vietnam-Cuba hospital in Hanoi. These are large hospitals that are still in extensive use today as earlier hospitals were either bombed or didn't have enough infrastructure for everyone.

Honestly the Vietnam conflict was a lot bigger and more complex. This video features the period of US involvement, but it can be extended back to the defeat of the Japanese, and later the French, and extended further to the defeat of the Chinese invasion

There was a conference in Geneva, Sweden 1954. It's about France getting their army out of Vietnam and two part of Vietnam will have 2 years to voting for 1 president then reunite. USA knew that more than 80% Vietnamese will vote for Ho Chi Minh from North Vietnam, and North Vietnam was USSR's allied so USA jumped in and created a war. Sweden still respected the conference

This Vietnam War game is really fun and high difficulty. I swear its gameplay is really complicated and only for pros, I don't usually play these types of games much but this game I have to think that I have to experience it right away. The previous part of this game was the Indochina War, it's an interesting stretch but the combat and strategy and levels are very few and bit lame, but at least it has the DLC - The First Indochina War : Resistance War Against Japan. The second part of it has improved a lot than part 1, Unfortunately its part 3 is too boring, China and Khmer Rouge and Thailand are too weak, can't even restore the Khmer Rouge and get Cochinchina. Also, it's boring for them to keep releasing very short DLC for part 3 and not release part 4 for years.

South Vietnam fell to a *conventional* PAVN invasion-complete with Soviet-supplied armor, mind you! And the cuts in U.S. military aid following the Paris agreement certainly didn’t help. "Allies" by your definition is to send troops and beat up hard the enemy? That must be the US, Australia, Korea and the Philippines. As for North Vietnam, I had never heard of a Soviet people coming to fight, despise their big supports. Not to mention countries like the Czech Republic or Sweden that only provide humanitarian assistance. There were some North Korean soldiers in the North Vietnamese air force, yes, only a few. The way you arrange countries with different actions into one list to make the North Vietnamese look like they are heavily supported, it really makes me laugh. In fact Vietnam was up against a consortium consisting of capitalist tycoons from all over, England, France, Spain, etc all supported the Republic of Vietnam. While South Vietnamese supports was people and weapons, North Vietnamese supports was only weapons. That highlights the fact that South Vietnam cannot represent the Vietnamese people but represent something abroad.
