Thank you! That fig tree was a volunteer. It popped up in my back bed. I found another one in my front hedge. I haven’t figured out how to get it out of there yet, so I just keep cutting it down. 💚

Beautiful garden!!! How many brown eyed Susan vines (if I’m guessing correctly) did you plant at the base of the arch to get such good coverage?

Thank you! They are actually climbing Black Eyed Susan vines. I bought two small $1 plants on clearance a couple of years ago. I planted one on each side of the entrance in the corners. Those two little plants covered the whole arch. Then I found two orange ones and planted them a year ago on the right hand side. They haven’t done nearly as well as the yellow, but they are in there. The arch over the yellow bench had two Sunny Susy vines (same plant just pink) covering it. One on each side. One died when the winds took the arch down last winter.

Thank you! I’m glad you found inspiration. No, the foxes are gone. We still see them sometimes around the neighborhood. They were here for about a month. Once they were gone, I cut down their hiding place and they haven’t been back since 💚
