This series was so beautifully done, it's very validating to hear the stories and experiences I thought only I was going through, shared openly. ❤❤❤

With all due respect, the village goes both ways. Mothers want support with their kids, but it’s only truly a village if they or those kids give something back to the group. As a childfree woman, I struggle with this idea that if one of my friends who is a mother needs help, I’m supposed to drop what I’m doing and show up for her at 4 am, but if I need help or support from her, at best I can maybeeee get her to commit to a coffee date like 3 weeks out for 30 minutes with her screaming child in tow. We ALL have struggles (loss of a loved one, divorce/break ups, losing our jobs, illness, etc) so if mothers don’t make the time to invest in their friendships and show up when their friends need them, it’s very one-sided to expect those friends to continue to show up for you. It’s a tough truth to hear and accept, but a truth nonetheless. I hear you, motherhood is hard. But mothers aren’t the only ones going through things that are hard.

@@wearesatellites91 With all due respect this series isn't for you. It's hard enough for mothers and parents to be open and honest about their fears and insecurities and just when a safe space is created for us to do so, along comes a childless woman pushing her way through to tell us everything that's wrong with how we feel and give us her opinion that comes with no experience of what we're going through. I sincerely hope that if ever there comes a time in your life when you need true support that you are met with more kindness and understanding then you are giving the mother's and parents in your life.

@@meaganstewart1604 Great response and it's coming from a Childless woman. We all have struggles .. true .. but we are not trying to cope while raising the next generation. Mothers are superheroes and if you need help you should be able to ask. Please note that not all childless woman think like this woman.

I agree. with all due respect even if this 'series' isn't about 'us' it's interesting for all women to hear. I can learn from all different types of parents. but yes it does goes both ways. villages took care of each other and that meant moms took in other peoples kids to care for watch, and feed etc. some of these friends who turned into moms don't give back because they say they are tired etc, but when your kids grow up, your man maybe isn't there, you are left and you are back trying to find those friends again.

If there is so much anger, women should get detailed hormone testing as well and proper supplementation
