I have been subscribed to this channel for many, many years. This is absolutely one of the most outstanding channels on KZbin available today. Tami and Kevin have provided years of incredible content every single day. I look forward to their videos every day. To see the ignorant, disrespectful and preposterous comments some have made is incredibly shocking and disheartening. Tami and Kevin ABSOLUTELY do not deserve this in any way. This is not a place for negativity and baseless ludicrous accusations and assumptions especially due to someones vacation choice. God forbid they ever go to Las Vegas or New York. Blue, Red, Green or Rainbow..anyone can visit or go anywhere they please without some ignorant judge and jury individuals who will take it upon themselves to inject unneeded drama and accusations. This has completely taken away from what these videos were actually meant to be about and I hope these individuals will take their negativity far away from here. This is not the place for any of that. The Villages looks like a FANTASTIC place to visit or live REGARDLESS of any politics. I am just appalled by what I have seen towards Tami and Kevin regarding this vacation and had to say something. Its ridiculous and mind blowing how judgemental and ugly people can get but in the end by showing their true colors they will be the ones showing who they really are. Keep in that, other that other than rare exception, you can generally only do one lifestyle visit per lifetime so make sure you are ready and actually considering The Villages before you schedule one.

We were there at the end of May. We went all over The Villages in the golf cart - from the far north to the most southern point. They filled it up with gas (free) when we contacted them half way through the week.

I just found your channel. I also watch youtubers from The Villages for over a year now. There's to many youtubers I'll watch in the Villages. The golf cart sorta reminds me of our side by side. I'll buy a 4 seater facing forward . And it will be Red . Remember some tunnels ceiling is lower and your cart will scape the top of the golf cart roof .

Actually, when i said I'd probably not get to go, i meant the cross country flights. But FL may be doable. I've never heard of the villages but it looks wonderful. My boyfriend doesn't like crowds.. it causes him a lot of anxiety so this looks perfect for him. For example, we went to myrtle beach last year and he would have been happy to stay in our room, as long as he had the view of the ocean from our balcony. And if we could get around on golf carts.. he would love it

The only reason The Villages is even known to many in the country is because back in 2020, Trump retweeted a video of a guy there in a golf cart rally shouting "White Power." It made lots of news. Obviously that one moron doesn't represent their whole community, and anyone following this channel should know that you and Kevin are good people who would never endorse anything that awful. I'm just saying that's what put the place on the map for those who had never heard of The Villages before. Sadly, the internet is a place where people like to judge everything by their worst aspects. She was screaming in some cart driver's face all the "racist! KKK! stuff" and he sarcastically answered "Yeah, sure, White power, yeah yeah..." and that was it. The next night there was a 4 second news clip of the guy. The media played it up as "proof" of... something. NO video of crazy woman. It belongs in the same trash pile as "he said xxx and xxx are good people!' You can probably find the FULL unedited clip on KZbin.

Today is a sad day. After many years of watching your channel I will be unsubscribing. We live in turbulent times and a person can't live anymore without politics being in your face everywhere they turn. You had mentioned the Villages before and even made recipes from their cookbook. I ignored what that might mean. Today, I can no longer ignore your choice (which you are most definitely entitled to) in supporting a state and the Village community that I believe clearly does not support people of color, women's right, anti-bias education or gender equality. Truthfully.... I didn't want to know your political views. Unfortunately, this video makes a statement about your beliefs that I'm not comfortable supporting with my patronage. I just wanted to enjoy your food and travel videos, but at the end of the day (just like you) I have to follow my beliefs and my heart. I wish absolutely no negativity upon you and hope you and your family remain healthy.

This is nuts! I don't agree with many things that certain states do politically, but it doesn't mean I can't visit or watch someone else visit.

The Villages look like Walt Disney for retirees! How wonderful! 🫶🏼 Those burgers looked delicious. I had never heard of gas powered golf carts! I assumed they were all white and battery powered. So cool!
