Goodbye 2023! Hello 2024! The Villages Florida 2024 (Michael & Tiffany TVE) New Year! New Dreams & New Goals! We hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We took 2 weeks off from KZbin to spend time with our family and celebrate the holidays here at The Villages. We went to Lake Sumter Landing for a boat ride with Santa, Brownwood Paddock Square for New Year’s Eve with the Hooligans and we also visited Spanish Springs and Sawgrass Grove. We ate at a lot of great restaurants (Sakura Japanese, Harvest, Lighthouse Point Bar and Grill). Surka is the best we like Colony plaza because we just like to order off the menu and no show. We eat there once a week. Tables turnaround is quicker since it’s just booths. We never had to wait. Maybe join a travel club at the villages.

My wife & I went to Harvest at Brownwood for New Years Eve, and were disappointed. We’ve been there before and loved it (which is why we chose it for NYE), but … We also watched Hooligans for a while as well, and agree … it WAS the biggest crowd we’ve seen at any square. 🎊 As far as new activities (we’ve been here since October) my wife does Cardio Drumming, we’ve played Mexican Train (dominoes), cards, walk most every morning with a large walking group from the Newell postal station and (of course) played a lot of golf. My wife and I like the Jubilee putting course and I play regularly at (and love) the MickeyLee pitch & putt.

I really love your channel and your positivity and help in really getting a good feel of The Villages! My husband and I were there at the end of October, in Lake Sumter Landing, and fell in love with that area. With there being so much to see, your videos are so helpful. I believe we have scratched the surface of a scratch on the surface in this vast area! We called to set up our Lifestyle Visit for May, but they are not booking yet - but we have already connected with our Guest Coordinator and Relocation Coordinator! So exciting! Curious to know the wait time on your furniture orders has been. It seems as though you have managed to get some nice pieces in pretty quickly. Are you ordering from shops local to The Villages?

Thanks! A lot of local furniture stores say it will take 8 to 12 weeks (or longer) to deliver furniture. We are going to do a follow up home tour video in a few weeks and share what we bought, where we bought and how long it took to get it delivered.

A video idea for you - of all the Villages-related videos that have been produced to date by the well known KZbin channels, not one of them has focused on churches. You could document your journey in finding the right church, film the exteriors (and the interiors, if permitted), possibly include a few interviews, show where each one is located on a Villages map, list the pros and cons of each one from your perspective, and give the reasons why you ultimately chose one over the others. There's even a church that you can attend in your golf cart.

We bought our 24/7 Gated retirement home here 5 Years ago. It is OLD Florida and we feel so at home. We have been in Lake/Sumter County for 27 Years. Mt. Dora area is where we sold our last home and moved to CCC. We are originally from Michigan and now enjoy going back for the Summer months. This area is EXPLODING and it's nice to enjoy the growth around us. Checked out our CCC Oaks Restaurant for some fine dining food. Blessings
