In this episode, Costi Hinn unpacks Matthew 20:1-13 and the parable of the vineyard workers. In this passage, Jesus highlights the nature of God’s sovereign grace and His prerogative to save who He wants to, when He wants to, and use them however He wants to. This episode will be a great encouragement to those who may feel like a second-class citizen in Christ because they are late bloomers when it comes to salvation.

A beautiful exposition of the parable. A lot of meat to digest in one sitting. Thank you for sharing Gods Word with accuracy and clarity. God bless you and your family, continually. (Mike UK)

This really challenged me, but in a good way. I was a Pharisee most of my life but thought I was saved. Not really sure when God saved me, but it was later in life. I've "worked in the vineyard" all of my life, thinking I was working for the Vinedresser, but in retrospect as a true believer I see that my "works" were wood and hay and stubble because it was done in my own effort. Now I feel that I have so much time to redeem. Not in works righteousness because I know that Christ clothed me in His righteousness, but I want to honor Christ and make Him known by my life. I'm just not sure how to do that at my age, but do want to hear Christ's approbation rather than His disappointment at how I spent my effort throughout my life. But at least I'm encouraged that this 11th hour worker will get some reward despite all the wasted years. Thank you for this teaching and all your other videos, Costi!

I once had a pastor tell me that he mattered more than me because he has a doctorate and I don't. His ministry has since crashed and burned. God is not asleep at the wheel.

I disagree with Leon Morris. Jesus (in this context) said nothing of the sort. I mean this with all due respect brother Costi, but how (if we mean to keep our Lord’s words in context and not Eisegete the text) can we rightly look at Leon Morris’ interpretation and deduce that he exegeted the text properly? My point is, Jesus said the first will be last and the last will be first. In its context, we can see that our Lord explains what He means with the parable! The first will be last (meaning that they will seemingly have received the least based on the amount of work they put in) and the last will be first (meaning that the ones who came in last, chronologically, will seemingly have gained the most based on what they put in). It has nothing to do with what Leon Morris stated.

I'm to say I disagree with part's of this message and it might be a communication or language issue I agree when we take things to an extreme but we as a true body of Christ need one another we can't just get rid of the elders and teachers or false teachings, liberalism and all of the bad things in the world will infiltrate the church like we are seeing all over (there's enough Bible chapters about this) About God wanting our hearts, well if we read our Bible we should know what God says about our hearts and Jesus or the apostles never said anything like it(this is what new thought, new age, woke churches teach) Jesus said look at their fruits And our story our testimony is at best is for us to relate with others to feel compelled and compassion for the lost because we know the end to a lifestyle of Sin And last only the gospel can save only the knowledge of the only Son of God can convict to salvation and a new birth we're we submit to one another help, teach grow fellowship and eventually die amongst godly saints that walked this journey with us Blessings and let's keep reading the Bible and Jesus be our foundation

It’s a parable. Parables are about the mysteries of the kingdom NOT eternal life.
