Thats just something that Bangladeshis do in general, we are very hospitable. When we feed someone, we fill our table excessively with food for guests. We like being hospitable and nice, especially our parents. And dont kid yourself. She seems like from a well off upper middle class family so she is living a good life in Bangladesh. I am from the same sort of family and lived a way more luxurious life in Bangladesh, with chaeuffers driving me wherever I want to, good food, and had more stuff than now I do studying in the US.
