Collagen although is good for skin but you cannot 'penetrate' it into your skin as it is a large molecule So these things are a total waste of money

Umm yes you are absolutely correct but I'd like to add something. Yes this might not penetrate the skin but the collagen in the mask acts as occlusive so yes it does moisturize the skin. It's a waste of money if you actually think the collagen is penetrating your skin but if just use it for moisturising it is worth it for providing intense moisturizing.

Collagen is humectant so it does hydrate ur skin. But to actually increase collagen production u need to orally ingest it

Yes y’all are correct. Whichever extra ingredients are in this mask will provide hydration. This person is simply trying to educate people that collagen is scientifically too big to be absorbed by your skin. Many people don’t know this, and think when they read “collagen” it will boost your collagen.

Basically collagen is a big molecule which cannot penetrate the skin, so it sits on skin, hydarates the skin and give you the most beautiful mochi glass skin

i don't see any difference tbh this can be achieved by keeping any hydrating mask for long time. even a homemade cucumber paste applied for same duration will do the same to skin.
