Hey hunnies, Quaaludes here. I'm an old 59 yo hippy. Never did "ludes" only pot, and speed in the day-early 80's. HOWEVER, we had a friend named Bill. We had parties every weekend during college and EVERY weekend we'd ask, "where's Bill?" Always late, he'd come rolling in high as a kite on ludes. I guess he took like 10 based on his actions, lol. He'd walk into every party. Nod, say a few "hey dudes" sit in the recliner and pass out. He was the best fun at parties. We'd put cigarettes in his ears, nose and mouth. He had no clue. Last time I saw Bill, he slowly left the weekend party, and I heard that he got home, fell on the sidewalk and BUSTED out all his front teeth. LOL...bless his little toothless heart.

He was a friend of a friend, we graduated, and last I heard was that he fell and broke all his front teeth out. I hope this was a wakeup call. He wasn't in school with us, and only showed up to our weekend parties. I never ever saw him when he had not taken a few ludes. In the day, we didn't think much about it--today I would try and get him help. I'm not sure if he had a problem/addiction or if he was just a weekend partier. When I think back about Bill, it makes me sad...I hope he is somewhere thriving and talking about those crazy days...same as me. ❤❤❤❤❤
