The intro for an instructional video I have created on understanding and making adjustments in your skiing for the virtual bump. The virtual bump is a concept that describes the effect of making turns on a slope. It explains that as we ski into and out of the fall line this is virtually like skiing down and up a mogul or a bump. Elite skiers have an innate sense of this and adjust their balance accordingly to this changing ground reaction force. You can learn more about how you can adapt your skiing with exercises I use to help ensure you stay balanced and predict what forces will come and particular phases of the turn. www.functionalbody.com.au/videos for the full video lesson
