I had the TPB of this but then got rid when it was included in the Marvel Hachette collection that I was buying. Great book, and one that I want to read again when I buy Mister Miracle. I thought WandaVision was really great! Totally different and I can see why it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I think if people are willing to give it time then it will turn out brilliantly once we can see the whole picture. Great video, keep them coming!

Yeah I agree, this was a great book, definitely worth a read. And I really did enjoy the first 2 episodes of WandaVision! Almost annoyingly so... because I was hoping to cancel my Disney+ subscription once the Mandalorian finished... so damn you Disney :P Glad you enjoyed this video mate, I'm going to be trying to do more like this in the future :) Thanks for watching, and for taking the time to comment!

Marvel seem to be inconsistent with their OHC binding which is annoying. House of X/Powers of X was glued but the new Guardians of the Galaxy is sewn binding. Wish they were all sewn binding! Great overview by the way 👍

Oh man was the HoX/PoX OHC a glued binding?? I had no idea... mine's still sealed on the shelf! I actually read it in singles, the first time I was buying singles in years. Which was a really fun experience! But for ease of re-reading I got the HC once it came out, but haven't opened it yet. In fact I don't think I've noticed any of my Marvel OHCs having a glued binding. I don't own a massive range of them though, most of my Marvel books are omnis. I will keep an eye out though, I thought this might have been a bit one a one-off situation! But it's good to know they occasionally do this, since it might affect how I buy certain runs or stories. I am glad I own the HC, I don't think the couple of gripes I have with it are enough to make me regret owning it in this format. It's still probably the best way to own the story. It's definitely worth a read, I think you will enjoy it :) Also it's weird you said that about Sixth Gun, I've been eyeing those up recently because I felt like reading something oversized! However, I was torn between those or Black Science by Remender, and I chose Black Science because it's a shorter series. I started those yesterday, enjoying it so far! It really is a ridiculous amount of back matter! I mean, when your book has a lower story-to-extras ratio than those Power Rangers deluxe editions you know you've probably taken it a bit too far! I'd say the story is a definite keeper but the format, yeah I can't fully endorse it... I am happy enough to own this in OHC though. But wouldn't lose any sleep over having it in a TPB, like I might have done if this was a bit more streamlined and had a better binding. Haha nice, that sounds like a cool idea! I've not read Sheriff of Babylon yet, but I really loved Mister Miracle quite a lot! And The Vision was great too, but like I said in the video I think Mister Miracle has the edge over it for me personally. I'd be interested to hear how you get on! Other than that, I think I've only read the first chunk of his Batman... it din't grab me too much. Omega Men I might still check out at some point just in case! Also I will definitely let you know what I think of Sabrina. It arrived yesterday actually! I'm not sure when I'll read it, but I'm really glad to have had you suggest it. Sounds really interesting! @@ComicBound great....as for now, i agree with u completely that Mr.Miracle is better than Vision.hell i think Mr.Miracle is Tom King's best n to top it he would need another miracle in his next work!hahaha.im not done with Sheriff of Babylon yet but i would definitely put Vision better than his Omega man n his batman run. On another note as a fellow fan n collector, r u familiar with any Stephen King's work that is adapted to comic/graphic novels?i just got to know there is a few as before this i only know of American Vampire where he co-wrote with Snyder for vol 1.of course im a fan of his horror books n other prose novel, then i got to know he worked with marvel in a couple of projects (the stand n dark tower).have u read or review it in any of your videos previously?he was the creative director for both of it as a diff writer wrote it supervised by the man himself.guess what, d comic fan in me went n spend some good money n i ordered the omnibus for both 'the stand' n 'dark tower'!dunno what to expect now when it arrives but looks nice in a slipcase n kinda leather bound cover.both titles comes with a separate companion reading book with xtra materials.pls do let me know what u think if u have read those already?thanks n cheers man!

This is a collected edition of the Director’s Cut issues... makes sense that it has all of the Director’s Cut material. You can buy all Director’s Cut issues as floppies (six issues in total that each contain two original issues) and this collects them, lol. There’s a collected edition in softcover that is 200 pages less and just contains the story. I really enjoyed your comparison video of Planetary but this one misses the mark.

Really sorry mate, I'm actually pretty gutted that you think this video misses the mark in some way. And I do really appreciate the feedback. I actually had no idea there were Director's Cut issues for the whole run, since I don't really collect singles any more. So thanks for pointing this out, since it's not very obvious when looking at the book. The contents on the back say "Collecting Vision #1-12"... it's only if you read the couple of paragraphs above that in more detail that it mentions "Featuring a wealth of behind-the-scenes special features from the Vision Director's Cuts". So yeah, to be fair I did miss that. However I don't really think it would change what I have to say on the video much. I still feel like a lot of people would end up buying this not realising how much of the book is extras, since many books that collect 12 issue runs can be a lot thicker than this. I did try and point out that there are some really cool extras and a lot of people would probably love what they've added, I just don't tend to get that excited by extras (especially scripts). So really, perhaps this video wasn't as useful to you since you're more familiar with the run. But this was really aimed at people who were not as familiar, and maybe would be blind-buying it based on watching Wandavision. I just wanted to get people a look at what the product was so they could be more aware about whether or not to buy it. In the exact same way as the Absolute Planetary video I made most recently, which it sounded like you found quite useful based on your comment there. I'm hoping the experience you had on that video is what others may be getting from this video. Saying that, I'm more than happy to hear how this video (or any of my videos) missed the mark, since I'm new to this and always trying to improve. So I hope I'm not sounding too defensive, I don't doubt there are many things I could be doing better! And I really do thank you for your feedback, it is always welcome! :)

Comic Bound I just disagree with your point about the length of the book being misleading because for people that know this is The Director’s Cut collected edition they expect this material to be in there. I think Marvel could have done a better job in marketing that this is indeed a Director’s cut edition. That’s where I think your review missed the mark. Other than that your review is spot on. Lots of great info and overview. Nice quality production and I will be checking out more of your videos in due time. I’m very ignorant on binding processes and the couple videos I have watched of yours have been very eye opening to me, lol. My apologies if my comment came off as harsh.

Hey, thanks a lot for your extra response here. No need to apologise, I'm not against getting criticism but if I do receive any then I just want to try my best to understand it fully so that I can improve. So I really appreciate the extra detail here, and also I appreciate you taking the time to let me know there were some things that you did find useful! :) I think I now better understand the point you are making... I can totally see how that for anyone who knows this content already existed for the Director's Cut editions, that not including it in this hardcover would have been a bad move and angered a lot of people. And now you've pointed it out to me where this content came from, I totally agree with you that it's pretty essential to this edition. I guess the real problem is that I was unaware of where the content came from. To me it simply looked like something they put together for this edition, because most of the time extras such as these are generated purely for the release of a collected edition. While I feel that was a reasonable assumption to make, it was still an assumption. And maybe I should have done some better research about the book before making the video. I'm really glad that even after this, you're still open to the idea of checking out my future videos, and that your gripe with this one hasn't put you off my channel for good! And please do feel free to let me know in the future if there are ways I can improve. I'd much prefer that people let me know where I'm going wrong, rather than just leaving a dislike and not saying anything! Despite how defensive I might sound about it, I really do just want to understand how I can improve :) So really, thanks again for your feedback, and for sticking with me while I'm still learning the ropes! :)

@@ComicBound it's all good. As I'm sure you are aware there are tons of comics out there and it's hard to keep up with what versions are in what collected formats, etc.! I'm not going to write you off because I don't necessarily agree with about 20 seconds of a nine minute video. :)
