Comedia romántica con dudoso final romántico: el amor manda mucho pero la distancia y el tiempo mandan más; a menos, claro está, de un romance etéreo forever and ever o de un matrimonio impuesto por cojones a corto o largo plazo. Cuando casi toda la película ya ha ido anunciando que no va haber macht, un inesperado giro final deja pendiente un posible final feliz. A brilliant and touching retro film about a central modern & timeless human delimma -- finding our true love and hearts passion in others. Pina is 36 and a lonely sweet & kind hearted - single country woman who seeks a suave , funny & discerning gentleman to marry and settle down with after her parents recent passing have bequeathed her property. A clever & slick man from Rome quickly responds to her too revealing Lonely Hearts advertising in the paper -- yet his scheming ways belies his ultimate intentions towards generous loyal Pina. Is he a really a perfect partner for her to share life with ? .... Somehow ~ We doubt it ! Very enjoyable film and insightful.
