Really underrated film from the 1970's with some striking imagery and an even greater soundtrack! This feels like a better version of 'Exorcist 2' but done with a quarter of the budget. Lot's of nods to 'Star Wars', 'Close Encounters' and even DePalma's 'The Fury'.

Great movie! I believe this is John Houston, the famous director, whom I remember especially from, "Chinatown." Although I think he directed Humphrey Bogart in, "The Treasure of the Sierra Madres." Is that Shelly Booth as the maid? And if you haven't seen it, watch "Flowers For Algernon," ("Charley," with Cliff Robertson). One of my favs. But I'm 73 now so I may have some facts wrong. Anyhoo, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.

Wow! Lance Henrickson is so young, and I'm tripping out seeing Shelley Winters as well. I'm only 32 minutes in and can't believe I've never seen this before. I'm 60 years old and was always a fan of Shelley, and Lance. Perhaps it was never on Canadian TV, or at our theatres back in the late 70s to 80s. I love old movies. Thankyou! 😊

There should have been more shows and low budget films to keep folks sharp back then . My hood we watched star trek - twilite zone - outer limits and the girls watched Dark Shadows as my sister was a Barnaby fanatic and that is about it !
