Awesome~! I was wondering how some of those shots were done. Man, you guys gotta do a full-length feature in the near future, seriously! I still say my idea of several different people experiencing the same thing would be the bomb... not sure if anyone has ever done a movie like that... same script/story from different people's perspective. We saw how Tilda experienced a world without other people... what about a suburbanite housewife, an immigrant grocer, a soldier or other person... their perspective on having the world all to themselves... I'm tellin ya mates, you got a torch to run with here! Oh, and if there's any way to work more butt-shots of Holly Fraser in there the merrier! :P~~~ Great work as always JW... I'm a fan for life!

Did you travel to Flint, Michigan to tape the implosion of the Genesee Towers??! Just curious. It being my hometown, I was utterly surprised to see it as a special effect in an Australian Film School project. Small world. ;-)

Haha, the trip alone would probably have cost me most of my budget. No, I looked for stock footage of building demolitions and the Genesee Towers were the best fit. I made a small attempt to make it look more like Sydney by adding the Anzac Bridge in the background ;) Thanks for watching!

What software do you use for simulating the collabbing building?

Adobe After Effects. The first collapsing building is stock footage though with some limited VFX to remove a banner, adding some Sydney elements to the background (as the stock footage was shot in Michigan), and adding the main character. The tower was all 2d composited in After Effects.
