EXO has three main vocalists. Kyungsoo (D.O) the one you said have soul, Baekhyun the one with silver hair and Chen, the one in center, is considered as one of the best in whole kpop. You just struck gold with EXO. Each of them is talented not only vocally but in so many other areas of art. They will fill your days with joy if you take a journey with them as all their music is fantastic. The one that you said it did not wow you or it is being outshined is not only one of the best vocalists in the group but in the whole industry. His name is Baekhyun. He has broken sale records in South Korea 3 times in a row with three of his solo albums, breaking his own records. He is recognized and veered as one of the best. If that was not enough he has an absolutely fantastic personality and is loved for that as well. On top of that he is the CEO of his own entertainment company. To get an understanding to what level EXO members are vocally, react to Baekhyun’s b-side “All I got” that is a vocal R&B heaven that no one can sing to see what lays underneath and awaits you when the one that did not wow you now will blow your mind.

As an EXO-L and an EXO fan, my bias is D.O., but that doesn't mean I love the others any less. I cherish them all as a group. Trio of them are main vocalist of Exo. You're spot on about most of their positions except Suho, he's just good at remembering choreographies like Baekhyun. Xiumin is honestly really amazing and he can reach the highest note in Exo if he wants to. Kai and Lay are ultimate killers of the group but I won't spoil anything about them yet.

It's really strange to hear someone say Baekhyun stood out the least to them cause it's normally the opposite. He's hands-down the most popular and successful soloist from EXO right now, and has been dubbed "genius idol." But, I get it. Seems like you seem to like artists on the basis of the tone of their voice, and out of the 3 main vocalists, Baekhyun has the most neutral tone. Chen's tone is sharp and strong, DO's voice is smooth and soulful af, while Baek's tone is calm and dynamic.... it's why he gets the most parts, high notes, and adlibs. He can go reaaaaally high, but also sound really soulful.

diving into EXO is a bit complicated to put it lightly. they started as 12 members that were divided into 2 groups: EXO-K (all Korean members) & EXO-M (4 Chinese members, 2 Korean members). then when 3 of the Chinese members left, they started to promote just as EXO w/ 9 members. but after a few years, their last remaining Chinese member, focused on building his career in China & hasn't done any activities w/ them for a while. they're actively doing group promotions as 8 members until everyone do their military service. so if you'll check their mvs, you'll see constantly changing number of the members. & you're correct most of their music is uplifting & positive. EXO is just a super group because all of them can do anything.

😂😂😂 Baekhyun getting outshined.. He sings so perfectly well that it sounds natural...maybe that's why you think that of him... Where you'll see that he is a monster : "Mama+Monster+Wolf live in tokyo" (the Wolf adlibs with Chen...well i'll leave it there...😂) "Really i didn't know" (another time with Chen...they amazed the older audience with a really old and loved korean song) Any live show where he sings...or even his live on Weverse and obviously, the songs that everyone here will suggest you : "All i Got" and "Cry For Love". I think we can say he is one of the most talented singers in k-pop if not the most talented...he sings like he talks... Exo is full of gemstones...they are all really great singers even the rappers... Sehun, the one at the right,he is the youngest of the group...you don't get to see him shine that much cause he basically do a low register in harmonization...which is quite amazing to be honest cause it's one of the most difficult positions..(in Tempo his harmonization with Chen is sooo technical and beautiful). Chanyeol the other rapper is good at rock, rap and ballads...he is one of the most talented rappers because of his habilities.(He can also play guitar, battery, DJ etc multitalented artist) The one you said had a soul is D.O (Doh Kyungsoo, his real name) is a good rnb vocalist, one of the best singers in k-pop too!now he got out of their agency and founded his own for his solo schedules...he also is a fantastic actor.(You need to check his dramas, movies...cause he is admired even from older actors..that's how good he is) On his right, is Suho(kim Junmyeon) the leader and lead vocalist of the group...he got from scraps(not that strong vocals when he was young and studying arts)and became a really great vocalist...he worked a lot through the years on his vocal (technically speaking) to strengthen his vocal chords and was even part of Big Musicals in Korea... On his right is Chen main vocalist too...do i need to say anything?One of the greatest singers of Korea...he is a really strong vocalist with one of the biggest range (he can go really low and really high, he is one of the few male vocalist capable to sing "Tears" a Korean song really famous for being one of the toughest cause really high)... Then you have on his right, Xiumin (Kim Minseok), lead vocalist.. the eerie of this group, he is the older, i'd say that he is still searching himself musically speaking but is sooo underrated in my opinion! He also has a high and beautiful range his voice is eerie but his personality too... Chen Baekhyun and Xiumin formed a subunit called CBX(Chen/Baek/Xi, their initials)...they made 2 mini albums and their music is more like "pop" The 2 rappers made a subunit too Exo-SC (Se/Chan : Sehun/Chanyeol) rap, pop, funk The only member that still doesn't have a 1st solo album is Sehun...all the others already debuted as solo artists. 2 members are missing in this Killing Voice : Lay who is the last Chinese members(some people might have explained the situation) And Kai who is THE dancer of the group with Lay too they both are main dancers.(Sehun is also a really great dancer despite being really tall) Lay is centered on M-Pop music (you should deep dive into it, this is quite impressive...Lite, Flying Asparas and his last project "Kai Tian"...really good... I'll be honest, i prefer his chinese songs that his english ones... Kai...he is considered as idols of idols...one of the best soloists in k-pop...he is one of the best dancers with Taemin from Shinee(his best friend by the way)...his voice, his music...in Exo he was more centered in dancing so he didn't get really that much chance to shine...sooo listening to him in a full song, it's such a good experience...he has a honey tone...(His voice sounds high and low at the same time, such a great vocal texture). To end this big explanation of mine : they are all BIG singers...considered by Melon Music as the Emperors of K-pop because of how they impacted the industry in their major era...(They participated to re-initiate the physical disc industry thanks to their 1st full album),they were considered superiors during many years cause they always won everything in big asian ceremonies and ofc they were also respected because of their talent and were really humble...at that moment, new generations still consider Exo as a role model group... They stand pretty strong despite all the ruckus they had with chinese members leaving at the 2-3 first years after they debuted...they still got bigger and bigger...

But as you can tell, he can also sing AND he plays multiple instruments. He’s not the strongest dancer in the group, but even the weakest Kpop idol is still really good. D.O: one of the 3 main vocalists. Some groups are lucky to have 1 first class singer. EXO has 3. He’s also a good dancer and is a good actor, 1 of the best idol actors out there. He’s known for his R&B, riffs, and adlibs. My bias, most of the time. Suho: the very capable leader of EXO. He’s not a main anything, but I absolutely love his solo work (PLEASE check ‘em out!) and he can easily keep up with the main vocalists. Decent dancer, as they all are. Chen:: another main vocalist. He has such a clear voice and sings many original soundtracks for k-dramas. If I were picking on voice alone, I’d pick him immediately. Chen’s married and has 2 daughters, if I remember correctly. Xiumin: also not a main anything, but is very versatile. He’s the oldest but looks like one of the youngest. Baekhyun: the formerly under appreciated main vocalist. Like D.O, he’s known for his R&B songs and is a hugely successful soloist. His high notes are beautiful, especially with that slightly husky voice. Very shy and quiet (NOT!). Sehun: the youngest, and a lead rapper. And with Lay gone, one of the more main dancers. To me, he seems quieter than the others and doesn’t have that high profile singing voice. Not in video: Kai, THE main dancer and one of the best in S Korea. Very sexy to me and many others, lol. But also a cutie pie. And then there’s Lay, who can’t participate because he’s also a youth ambassador from China and relations between China and S Korea are strained. He’s a great dancer, on par with Kai, and has a successful solo career in China. I’ve said enough. Looking forward to seeing more of my favorite group on your channel. 😁

All 3 of even number (2nd, 4th, and 6th position) members: the main vocals of the group Black hair in black jacket (DO) - in charge of the runs and fuller/deeper melody Middle one in all white (CHEN) - The one with widest range (can hit the lowest and hightest note) and mostly do the high notes Silver hair with black jacket (BAEKHYUN) - usually in charge of falsetto runs and high notes mariah carey style. D.O (the soulful one) is my bias, and the song that really did me in is called Thunder at about 1:22 minutes into the song. His voice is so soulful and the control of his high note just gives me chills every time. My absolute favorite EXO song and will always recommend. Also, because you were curious. They leader is Suho (the one to the right of the soulful one) They all can dance, but the main dancer is Kai who is no in the video. But also Sehun (right end) and Baekhyun (next to Sehun) dance. Chanyeol (left end) produces music and I believe he's partly produced some of EXO's newer songs.

Surprisingly CHEN (center of line up) has the least acting career but with Kdrama OSTs--- he's your guy😊 One of the things that makes Chen great aside from his great voice is his ability to convey the message of the song. That's why he's so effective on Kdrama OSTs. But dont discount on other genres, I am still waiting for his rock album😂😅

Whenever Baekhyun sings, the reactor’s eyes are close, vibing to his voice, and when he opens his eyes, a different member sings. It has been constant throughout the whole video. Probably the reason why he didn’t appreciate Baekhyun. Another reason could be, Baekhyun’s mouth is not seen in the camera moving covered by the microphone, hence it is difficult to connect with him watching him sing the songs. The only time his eyes were open, was when Baekhyun sang the falsetto ending of “Monster”, that’s why he got complimented. But if you watch again the whole video, you would know that Baekhyun starts and ends the songs setting different moods in every different songs. Whereas Chen is too expressive when he sings, and his voice is piercing and sharp making you attentive to his singing. And DO has definitely one of the best tones in KPOP.

I think Baekhyun( the silver hair guy) blend with everyone and with the song... Thats why he doesnt stand out that much but actually its obvious he can really sing so well. I think most of EXOs songs are upbeat. Their most sentimental ones are the songs they have written and produced for/in honor of their fans.
