One of the best gachas I've ever played. So good that I added it to my roster. Currently playing WuWa, PGR, and Reverse 1999. Just to attest to the quality, I opted to play it instead of HSR as my go-to turn-based gacha. Might wanna check Limbus Company too.

VA in this game is amazing, I just wish I enjoyed the aesthetic.

I wouldn't say that Reverse: 1999 has the best voice acting out of all the gacha games we have (it's top 5 for sure and top 3 at it's best) but what really sells the voice acting as being great is it's uniqueness. As far as I know Reverse: 1999 is the the only gacha game that was developed with english as it's primary language which is why Reverse is the only game (again, as far as I know) to hire voice actors who are actually form the region the character is from. You have chracters with really strong regional accents like Vertin/Regulus (british), Lilya/Yenisei (russian), Shamane/Kanjira (Indian), then you have characters who simply just speak in their native tongue frequently like Matilda (french), An An Lee (chinese), Isolde (german) and so much more. This extra length taken for it's english dub gives so much more nuance to the dialogue which in turn enrichs the visual novel like way of storytelling the game leans towards. All that is to say that the voice acting as a whole is still not perfect as even though the game was made with english as a primary language the script is still written in chinese first which is then translated to english (the game devs are from China). This is most clearly seen with the early chapters as some of the dialogue is awkwardly spoken. Moreover some technical issues are still present as some characters have noticeably worse mic quality then others. This is seen with Druvis III as she sounds like she's recording her voicelines away from the mic, though this problem was improved upon some NPCs and side characters till have this problem. All in all I think Path To Nowhere has the overall best english voive acting out of all the gacha games but I still love Reverse: 1999 more due to it's uniqueness in aesthetic, voice acting, character design and story (imo the aesthetic and story aspects of the game are the strongest) which is why i do recommend the game despite it's few flaws. I think playing up to chapter 3 is a good way to see if the game's for you or not. Edit : I forgot that Arknights's english dub also does accents so you should check it out too if you're interested.

@@nightowlowo149 For sure not a hoyo game (kidding). I think comparing by different aspects is a good idea. Best gameplay, gacha system and ost is PGR but it lacks a strong aesthetic and a great but nothing amazing story. Limbus Company and Path To Nowhere are seriously underrated but when it comes to all aspects except music and gameplay, both are the best at.
