Carmen did have the 'it' factor here. More of a 'star'. But together, they were gorgeous. Unlike most of the other battles where the singers are screaming at each other, these 2 harmonized gorgeously together.

I agree. Plus, Guy's own brother was featured heavily on the show and always introduced as "Guy's Brother Chris", and then Carmen was shown the door. I really liked the series but I hope next year they pin down exactly what is "unfair advantage" and stick to it across the board.

I'm a great fan of The Voice Australia and it's a shame to miss out on a great voice like Carmen's but luckily she's got Guy as a mentor and I'm sure we'll hear more of her....love the "Gold" song which sounds like it came straight out of the Hairspray movie and makes me crave John Travolta wiggling his skirt. Go Carmen, you looked gorgeous and sounded awesome on Australia's Got Talent! We want more! :)

I'll miss Carmen on The Voice. It would have been great to see how she would have gone as a front singer not backing somebody else. As for drawing the line for unfair advantage, it seemed when Delta chose her own back-up singer in the battle show that there has to be an advantage there.

Because if you get through on the voice uk and us .. they are 2 of the biggest recording countries in the world and these 2 countrys are the dominant ones where recording artists are so being famous already is just a added bonus to sony records who would sign you in the uk or us when making you global whereas if you win the voice au you will prob be a artist in the au only .. you wont go global
