I don't like the Blake effect and the wait he has so many fans that just vote for his team, but that's almost being overshadowed by the Kelly effect at this point it seems. Which, she does have more fans than him and a wider reach of fans through more genres. A lot of people complain they don't like Jennifer Hudson either. I don't get it. I love Kellie. I love Jen. I love Alicia when she's there. I don't even mind Miley. Blake has grown on me. The only judges I flat out don't like are Gwen because she can't sing therefore has no business judging other singers, and now I really can't stand Adam because he has been slowly making the worst decisions ever for the last several seasons. Last season he had the winner on his team because Kelly Let Her Go, and he ruined her with song choice. Who sings Bring Me to Life on a vocal show anymore? Why did he never play to the blues part of her voice? Because he's not a very good singer oh, he's just okay, and so when someone comes to him with Talent like that he doesn't even know how to assign it to anyting. By the way, I'm talking about Jackie Foster.

Michelle Zoura After Deandre performed when they ask the judges if they have any last words for their artists Adam took that opportunity to pretty much not only not say anything to Deandre but used it to tell people to vote for Reagan because she was sick and unable to perform and that’s exactly what happened. Reagan made it through to the top 8 even though she didn’t perform like Deandre and Dave did to be saved. Kelly tried to do damage control for Adam but it was too late. It was worse watching it. Bad just bad for Adam. I’ll be surprised if he comes back next season!!

While I was watching the show, I was shocked when Adam Levine literally threw DeAndre under the bus. Musically, there is no comparing talent of DeAndre to Reagan's--beautiful, sweet young woman, but she has no lower register. I really wonder about Levine's capacity as a coach--he sort of lost me when the went crazy for that talentless though cute guy from Hawaii. These guys are wise to take the high road. I have 3 issues about this. Firstly, Adam asked the fans to vote Reagan, but he didnt say they shouldn't vote for DeAndre. Then, how could they have made her eligible for votes if she did not perform? They should have just eliminated her, or given her a free pass for next season. Thirdly, how could the fans have ended up voting to put her through? ( i hope it wasn't really the showrunners that influenced the vote). And if it was really the fan votes that counted, then i hope the same people that voted are not also insulting Adam. He was just sticking up for one of his contestants. If he remains on the show, this will affect his being selected in subsequent seasons...infact ratings may even drop, leading to its cancellation. In my opinion, i blame the show for even allowing this situation play out. Reagan did not perform, she shouldnt have been voted for..simple!

Above everything...I really feel like Reagan is too young for this. Yes she’s talented but honestly she was in a robe with her hair and makeup done, so it’s obvious there was some intention to perform that night...I don’t know I don’t mean to bash her, but overall I do just feel she’s too young and felt she definitely got more pity for that than DeAndre or Dave would’ve gotten because of their age. I question if she was actually sick or if she just wanted to get pity. But it’s good that DeAndre and Dave have no hard feelings towards what happened because that definitely was ridiculous.

DeAndre man I have been playing bass guitar since the 80s and I have played with so out rages bands and I’ve been around some singers That had phenomenal voices but my goodness man God is giving you a gift that don’t make no sense the heart in your voice is inspiring and uplifting and it moves the heart tremendously you absolutely cannot stop but I know you will not anyway we’re going to miss you man put on some music as fast as you canBut of course be careful who you connect with but I’m pretty sure with gods help you’re going to do absolutely wonderful God bless

I think all three are great singers and everyone deserved to be in the next stage, although DeAndre is the best for me, his talent is amazing...But what Adam did was unfair to DeAndre. I'm so sad for him because it's not his fault that Reagan could not sing. What Adam did was not good at all. Everyone deserved the opportunity to be supported and defended, and poor DeAndre definitely did not have the opportunity to get the proper support from his coach. Thanks to Kelly ... she was amazing. Although Kirk Jay is my favorite, I definitely had pictured DeAndre in the finale 😔

So I guess anyone who’s not a 14 year old little girl isn’t worth saving. Smh. I’m sure American Idol is happy because The Voice’s ratings are going to drop significantly after this. Adam may have screwed the whole show with this one. One of the primary focuses of The Voice is having coaches who do EVERYTHING they can to support ALL of their team members. Ok.. TV politics: I am positive NBC had a discussion with DeAndre. He didn’t say much here but his initial interview said he felt “sold out.” Granted, he has probably come to terms with what happened. I am sure NBCs PR team set this entire interview up to make it seem as though everything is peaches and creams. A lot of people have vowed to boycott this show so now there is damage control in order.

@ Matthew Noble - Adam was the one that selected that song choice to DeAndre. DeAndre really didn’t have a say so on the song selection his coach picked. So it’s NOT really DeAndre’s fault! DeAndre did his best of singing song Bruno Mars’ song. I give DeAndre credit for trying! Unlike Strange, sitting in her white robe in the audience and holding her mommy’s hand!!! There are teenagers contestants still singing in the competition whether they are sick or under pressure! They are not being spoiled and favored like Strange! DeAndre handled this gracefully. I watched Adam’s commentary again and he was wrong to behave in the manner he did. Yes, he could have and should have behaved better. I understand him advocating for Reagan but he could have done so without throwing DeAndre under the bus. All of the contestants put in an immense amount of work into their performances. Adam really should have said something to the effect that both Reagan and DeAndre work hard to perform weekly for you and your votes would be appreciated. I understand the knee jerk reaction from viewers. I don’t hold little Reagan responsible for Adam’s behavior, I hold Adam responsible. I hope Reagan gets feeling better and I will give her a chance to earn my vote should she perform well next week. I hope Adam does right by this little girl he fought so hard to save. I hope in the future the show does the same for other contestants as they did for Reagan if they should feel under the weather.

I totally agree. Adam was so caught up in pushing for Reagan that he just could NOT have been thinking. But, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. I don't think he thought that Reagan would be in the bottom. I think she has a good voice and Adam's actions are not her fault but Adam made them both look bad.
