I personally feel that Tanu was equally deserving..she is just 16..but still. at such a tender age even she can sing with great maturity and do complete justice with such a tough song..I wish Tanu was given atleast one more chance :(

Considering that Hindi was not Passang's first language & despite that she sang such a difficult song beautifully,it was a good decision by Mika.

Passang's voice was well suited for such a great magical composition of Madan Mohan sahab and Lata didi's magical soul which she added in this song. Passang nailed it. But Tanu was equally good. But the voice quality made Passang win. Mika at the end very good decision.

Tanu has a light, romantic and innocent quality to her voice while Passang has a strong, shrill voice. But both sang the song beautifully. Bollywood seems to love very shrill voices like Lata and Asha etc., so Passang is the typical choice. (Don’t get me wrong- Lataji and Ashaji are phenomenal singers). But, I hope someone in Bollywood gives Tanu a chance to sing some songs coz she too will be very popular.

I'm gonna be honest as a spectator. This song was tough. Pasang had her voice shrill and ground, Tanu's was light and flying. Mika did well selecting Pasang, because she stood more stable throughout the 🎶 song.

Both have a very good voice. Passang coming from N-E side, has such a different accent and unique voice which I never heard...One day she might be going to bring an evolution in tunes of music world. By the way, Tanu's voice is no less though she has same kind of platform as other good singers. This time I agree with Mika's decision..Love you Passang, but please do not become nervous or disappointed when you are not appreciated..Keep smiling, because that is the only magic which brings satisfaction to the Judges... Very fair decision! Passang’s voice was very clear and the others judges were trying to be bit partial I think may be because Tanu is Indian! But Mika could find the right talent! Kudos Mika you did the most fair decision !
