I had seen this performance live, this was the first Season of Voice India I think, meet Jain was my fav for his Fantastic performance in ore Piya. I am a non-bengali and I have also learnt classical vocal and I have some degree of understanding of sur and I believe Snigdhajit was better in this song. I am not a Shan fan either. But Shan was right in his decision. Even Himesh supported Snigdhajit, so why just blame Shan? I can tell you the places where Meet was off sur. When he sings 'Morea' in the opening line, the last note is off sur. Sindghajit's beginning line was outstanding and it continued in the entire song. Plus, he sounds devotional, which is the requirement of the song. I agree Meet is very talented and he will definitely make it big one day. I like Meet but in this song, Snigdhajit was better. Let us accept the truth.
