The Voice Teens Philippines Battle Round: Sophia vs. Tanya - Since You've Been Gone

The Voice Teens is a Philippine reality singing television competition for teens that airs on ABS-CBN. It is based on the Dutch reality singing competition of the same name. The coaches of the show is composed of Lea Salonga, Bamboo Mañalac, Sarah Geronimo and Sharon Cuneta.
This is the third version of The Voice franchise, after The Voice of the Philippines and The Voice Kids; this is also the second The Voice Teens franchise in the world and the first in Asia.

Seriously guys..I dot really get your points. This is another set of round, blind auditions has no bearing on it. Even you are the crowd favourite or the best during the battle round if you are outdone by the other contender during the battle round than accept the fact that you lose it..Sarah is just being fair on her artists. You need to be consistenly great in every performance and be versatile to be in the next level of the competition. Sarah is doing great in this. Tanya did really great and awesome in this performance.period..Just be thankful that Sophia was steal by the other coach. Guys, wag n po natin i hate or bash ang decision made by coach Sarah. Let's face it, Tanya nailed this performance. She knows how to attack the song, in my opinion, she owned it! While Sophia, of course she is great too, hindi lang bumagay talaga sa kaniya ang song na to. She is my favorite during the blinds and I was rooting for her, favorite ko pa rin siya pero for now, I want to give chance sa ibang artists na ang gagaling DIN pla. Just like Jeremy, Heather, Cristy, Bea, Nisha, Tanya and Mica of course! Wag lang natin i base sa blinds ang kagalingan ng mga artists. Ang isang singer dapat consistent. But good thing coach Lea was smart enough to steal her, she didn't forget the audition piece of Sophia. I am glad she is still in! She will remain as one of my favorite artists in this season though! Let's see kung sinong aangat sa knockouts! I still believe in Sophia kahit hindi niya napanalo ang battle na to. The first time i watched this, nakaspeaker ako so parang hindi ko masyadong madistinguish yung boses nilang dalawa, and then I watched it again this time with headset na, at dun ko nacompare yung edge ng boses ni tanya kay sophia. Sarap pakinggan ng boses ni tanya. At gaya nga nung sabi nung ibang comments, hindi lang talaga bumagay yung kanta sa boses ni sophia.

I havent watched these contestants’ blind audition, but opinion solely on this battle: as a Kelly’s fan, I can say Tanya sings Kelly song and shows the song’s spirit but doesnt sound like Kelly, and thats for sure the key thing in music industry. So in term of potential in the industry (e.g. creativity, uniqueness), Tanya is right choice.
