I’m so devastated and heartbroken after hearing he passed away. I’m wishing so much love towards his family. Billy had one of the most unique voices in recent anime, so talented, and amazing - I absolutely adored him as Galo in Promare and Ferdinand in Fire Emblem. Exceptional talent as well as Maruki in Persona 5 Royal, too. An incredible actor who brought so much to each media he was in, I’ll miss hearing him so much.

The first time I heard of Billy’s voice was as Shin Nouzen from 86. At first I didn’t think much of it, but as I kept watching the show I got hung up on his voice. He has voiced so many characters, Rui and Naofumi are some of my favorites along with Shin. I wish him to get better❤️ would like to see him voice more characters in the future and pick up on the ones he left behind.

Saw the news a few days ago. My heart goes out to him and his family. I don't know of his work, personally but he's voiced some of the coolest characters from some of the coolest anime. Naofumi from Rising of the Shield Hero, a great Isekai anime. Josuke from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Shinigami from 86 (one of the greatest new anime of all time).. etc. And Ferdinand from Fire Emblem Fuukasetsugetsu/Three Houses. So while I don't know him due to only watching and playing in Japanese, I can still respect that he got these roles and was a beloved voice actor who accomplished his dreams. It's tragic that he met such a fate at such a young age. And it sucks _that much more_ for the people who watched the anime he voiced because the future seasons of 86... as well as with main characters of past JoJo seasons usually making returns... sadly he can't voice them anymore. And if Three Houses was to get a proper sequel, or Ferdinand were to get an alt in Fire Emblem Heroes, it's the same... He died way too young. Rest in Paradise man.
