Ranboo has easily become one of my favourite characters from dsmp- seriously. His character is crazy interesting, his way of speech, his monologues, his memory book, his interactions with other characters on the server… and not to mention its topped with like 10/10 acting. CRAZY. So there, now that u know I’ve fallen deep into this cult, take this Ranboo animatic. This is the scene where he hallucinates(?) hears? Dream’s voice inside his panic room. Enjoy :)

It's so cool because dream wasn't actually there. It was all a hallucination, because ranboo helped Tommy burn down georges house, he thinks that he helped Tommy blow the community house. It's so crazy because dream blames it on him too since he was friends with Tommy. I love the way they're portraying ranboos thoughts and feelings. And this animatic makes it seem even cooler.

Even though Niki had been saying her opinion and making her points, when she was alone with Ranboo she made a point to be very quiet and calm for him. should i be concerned that i love how powerful dream's character is that he has the ability to literally make people insane and not even trust themselves... ranboo and dream's characters are easily the most interesting in my opinion, there is so much going on in ranboo's head and he has no idea where to look. then dream swoops in acting as the "good guy" when in reality he is really pushing ranboo even further into the void of his own insanity. i really genuinely believe the dream smp should be a movie like there's so much good plot, and the characters are so intriguing. thank you for capturing the movie-esque feel to what the cast of the dream smp created!!

It's possible that the Dream we see running around IS Dreamon. Tubbo and Fundy split him in half, right? What if the normal Dream is off building a house somewhere and Dreamon is the one who tortures the server for fun? It probably isn't anything that hilarious but WHAT IF IT WERE? What if Pandora's Vault isn't for Tommy, or Techno, or Ghostbur, or Philza? What if it's for the original Dream?

Okay so the "dream" that ranboo hears is always talking in the third person, as if he isn't talking about himself, "You helped Dream with the TNT, you helped techno escape, you've been helping dream this whole time." so if ranboo can hear this supposed 'Dream' in his head this could also associate with Dream not allowing anyone in the dreamp smp to go to the end. What if Dream got possessed by Dreamon thus resulting in him banning the end to protect everyone else, which can make ranboo hear the Dreamon because it could have possibly come from the end. So Dream is not really there just a shadow of who the guy is.

Dream is such a good villain. Oh my god.... He totally freaks me out whenever he talks like that. He’s just so calm but so scary at the same time. Ranboo is such a good actor too! He sounds like he actually doesn’t remember anything and he sounds just so desperate to rely on someone to help him. They are such good actors when they work together! And you drew them both perfectly! I don’t see a single flaw in the way you drew them. It’s amazing! When Dream said “That’s not good.” Chills just went down my spine. He did that line perfectly.

Dream may seem like the bad guy here, but I'm on his side because he started the server and had everyone together, in a big family or just one country. Then, Tommy and Wilbur made a country out of nowhere, for their drug van. It created conflict, some of the first and biggest ever, destroyed tons of natural land and ruined the "family." Dream is going a little overboard, but all he wants is the family back and for a country that does nothing but cause problems to be gone. Even if Lmanberg was home to those people, the people under the greater SMP still had just as good as a home.

Nobody on the server is a good guy. That's what makes the story so good :p People can say Dream only wants power, which is not wrong per se, but so do a bunch of other characters. Power means he can defend himself from everyone who would gladly kill him and leave him to rot given the slightest chance. Why is this worse than the shit other characters pulled exactly?

We know he's crazy at this point, but it's because he was so driven by that need for a big happy family. Eventually he went crazy and power hungry as well. He eventually determined himself that Tommy was the cause of his problems since Tommy brought conflict everywhere he went and that's why he tried so hard to exile or kill Tommy.

Honestly, these moments are probably my favourite on the SMP. Dream's soft, slightly raspy voice playing both the voice of reason and torment, while Ranboo's struggling to maintain a semblance of calm in all the panic is just so freaking good.

Its funny that you call it "Dream SMP Saga" because I know another series that goes by the name Steve Saga and honestly, I see similarities in both...in fact, it's scarily similar. Tubbo's execution/being a "traitor" to Tommy during Schlatt's reign, Tommy being exiled, characters losing their minds, why, there's even the personification of memory loss in the Steve Saga, and the way this depicts Ranboo's descent into madness and struggle with memory loss, really just brings it all together in one horrifying and tragic circle.

I was honestly a little terrified at 1:50. Just the way you portray Ranboos thoughts and the manipulation of Dream just makes it so eerie. And then the way you pan into the room, flashing from the room with the many face masks, to the white room just adds to that fear. But the voice acting from Ranboo and Dream was so spot on. With how calm and relaxed Dream was the whole time really adds to that feeling of doubt. This is where the Puppetmaster is at his best. And then theirs Ranboo. Man Ranboo's voice acting was impeccable here. The way he sounds, how much he starts to doubt himself, and then the fear questioning his sanity. And the way you portray it is just so spot on. The shots switching from Ranboo's panicked state to the completely insane one, representing the doubt he has. The music is also just mmm "chef kiss." Again it's just so spot on. Amazing work and cant wait to see what else you have in store for us.
