I am so glad I'm not the only one who basically shat my soul out at that pitch blackness event. Nothing happened to me and eventually it became light again, but it still freaked me the fuck out. It didn't help that I had previously gotten a fright with a similar bass sound when I hit 0.0 sleep one night... Also hooray other moths!

Haven't actually played the game before, does the event literally never cause anything weird to happen at all? I could see it being freaky regardless, which, mark of a great game, but still, it'd be surprised if they legit used lack of an event as the scare.

@@Jus_Jojthe two events i know about are programmed to happen on the 24th of every month. (SPOILERS!!) the black fog event (which the silly goober moth (/lh) got in the beginning of the video) is completely harmless to everything but your imagination. the second one is the BAD SUN event, which is based off of the When Day Breaks SCP-001 proposal, can kill, but thankfully lasts only one ingame day iirc. it kills by literally melting you. (chunks of your flesh will fall off - which you can eat btw - and if you keep staring into the sun for too long, you’ll die. there are no entities besides the sun that will attack or kill you.) note: i haven’t tested in game (i will be able to soon though) but i think all the info i wrote is correct. sorry if it isn’t. there are probably many more events that can happen on the 24th of every month, though i’m unsure if the 24th is correct lol. edit: god almighty i didn’t realize how long this reply was. also votv is free on itchio so all you need is a decent computer :)

(Story Time): Playing the game getting signals and blasting Ninja on the TV and I check my camera to see what the creature is doing and It's not there I check the radar and it is really close to my base. By close like close enough to see it from my cameras on the tower near the base. It keeps getting closer and closer but then it turns around my heart rate is dropping but that thing does a 180 b-lining straight for my base then does a 2nd U-turn back to despawn. I think its intended event. Probably happens randomly when player falls to the ground. Happened to me once when i fell from base's roof D: Full story: My backrooms wasn't as broken as backrooms in video (no missing or clipping walls), but uh.. i kept hugging right wall as its the only true way to escape any maze lmao, and eventually it led me to the lowest level i guess, a small room with short corridor and no way to go back and continue. After a min - burgers start to spawn on the floor, and dissapear with pressing E. Game crashed with "fatal error" message. Idk if this is an intended way to "escape" backrooms tho. Maybe it is. Safe loaded in normally after. THANK GOD met 0 monsters
