A whole video on fitting wheels and the front wheel offset isnt even right for the car. How are wheels the most important upgrade? Are they lighter? If so, how much lighter? How does the car drive with them fitted? Even a 30 second reaction clip at the end wouldve improved this video.

Not sure on the rubber choice. Should of gone with the top end spec federals if you want to compete with a type r. Or an entirely different rubber choice. Those basic street tires aren’t going to do it. Unless you’re doing race wheels. In which case I don’t understand this upgrade so much. I’d of also gone with a smaller wheel and something fairly light. Fitment isn’t the primary concern when trying to beat something around the road course.

@@groove160 they will probably remove the r-design kit, and fit one that looks terrible. Edit: or put on the black plastic from the momentum and summum on it, the r-design kit is probably to heavy.

Reminds me of a rally wheel. Looks interesting, but not my thing personally. I checked out the offerings on Elevate. Like the 5 spokes but they're more of a retro look. I'll stick with the pegs for now. You sure that rubber is a good choice for the cold weather? Looks like a summer compound? Any rub so far? Also, don't mind the haters, you do you man. As an owner of an Atreus equipped C30 I am disappointed. If you're going to make one of the biggest changes in terms of looks and handling several things should be considered. Performance improvement, weight, disc cooling, and looks. We need more reasoning than they're wider and you think they look good. To me they fail the at least 2 of those criteria...

I like the look of those wheels and the 245/40/18 is what I run on my C30. You might get a bit of rubbing at almost full lock but with that offset you might not. Thinking about how long it would take to clean those is going to give me nightmares 😂

Interrested to hear how those 245's are clearing when you make full turns. Also, I assume you torqued those nuts after the camera was off. Always torque your wheels, if too tight studs may break from longterm stress and heat cycles (been there), too little you'll loose a wheel.

I have 235s on my Atreus wheels. Tires can be upgraded without changing the wheel aesthetic.

hahaha!!! if you want to beat the civic you need top end rubber...pilot supersports or pirelli pzero! federal is crap! and I would recommend swapping for 17 inch wheels for less weight.

My polestar tuned C30 desperately needs wider tires than the 205s it has, And a stiffer rear sway bar to neutralize the ridiculous amount of understeer. But with a big 5 cylinder under the hood I'm curious if wheels/tires that wide would rub when turning... Perfect daily driver as is though. Weight specs? You'll need better rubber than that for the track, curious to see how those federals will fare after some laps, my guess is not well...

these wheels look good on evos or old school rally cars. looks like shit on this type of body maybe if it was a concave design then it might look better. you might need to change the wheels to a bigger set like a 19x9, the type r comes with 20x8.5 to help eliminate torque steer. the 18x8.5 you got might not be enough

If lowering springs are in the future for the C30 please buy a nice skid plate for it as well. I learned the hard way in my C70 2. Hit the spot at gas stations where they fill the underground tanks. Usually they are like mounds raised off the ground painted red. This one had no paint. Dumped all the oil out of car and left me stranded 200miles away from home with my dog. Turned the car off as soon as it happened so no damage except to my wallet.

Sorry but those rims look ugly and heavy, they would be suited well for a wrc rally car tho. Federal makes mud tires and although they are cheap they wear out really fast. Would not have been my choice for a car I plan to race.
