usually the further left you go the more bass it adds the further right you go the more the opposite, melodies usually sit near the middle to the right a bit, and things like tsss noises and hi hats sit on the right end. you might have to make one element quieter to make others stand out more

Think of a standard equalizer as three main 'sliders' - Bass, Mid-tone, and Treble. Each on a scale of -10 to +10 with zero being no change at all. Each genre has a general mix in its production style that promotes the genre of music. So songs like this, pop, hip-hop, rap, EDM, synthetic, etc would all typically run more bass, a little more treble, and slightly lowered mid-tones, to get the most out of that style of music. Whereas something like classical, rock, or metal would mix best with lower bass, relatively neutral mids, and increased treble. More advanced EQs will give more sliders, usually one for each decibel frequency. Bass freqs are lower decibel, usually to the left, while higher pitched or treble is to the right and i higher frequency number (decibels). For this song in particular, being synthy, try setting your equalizer to +50% Bass, -10% Mid-tone, and +30% Treble and see how it sounds. Different EQs have different levels of complexity, so just adjust it in a way that reflects those numbers best. How to know if it sounds "good"? If there's too much bass, it'll sound like the song is basically drowning in deep water. It'll cover up all of the brighter sounds. If there's too much mid-tone, it may make vocals too loud, or melodies take over the bass and percussion. Too much treble will sound too bright and sharp, hearing all the ticks and clicks too clearly, and make it sound flat and lose its depth. The best thing for beginners is usually just find default EQs for their genre of music, and adjust it from there. Hopefully this helps out.

Overrated it does not work. When you change the sound all the time. You cannot fix your Equalizer. . This is simple.

There are settings for audio known as an equalizer, I'm not sure what everything is called but I know a bit. So imagine a graph, and each line on the graph can be change, and each line across the bottom is used for a certain range of audio, such as high, mid, and bass. (Which are known as Hertz) On the left side of of the graph you have the decibels or dB which can go from 10dB to -10dB. The decibels can change how loud or quiet you want the bass, mid, and high ranges of audio are. (Not all Equalizers are the same but I explained it how it looks like on mine) Some music artists who are starting to do audio mixing use an equalizer to change audio during a concert, for music producing, or whenever for fun. This video is used to help those who are trying to practice audio mixing. Or whatever lol
