I can finally connect 2, 3, 4 waves. I can’t wait to get into downwind. Not quite sure how to start but one day I’ll get it. I snagged a little boat I think could work to learn and then venture into prone DW?

You need to wait for a whitecap and takeoff in it, with the push of the whitewater.

However to give you an idea of the difficulty, I have read that some pro (I think it was Kai Lenny) waited once 20 minutes for a whitecap to break on him to take off again.
