If you want to get the best ever fun....book the furthest from Male by sea plane, that way you get to take off and land several times!...GREAT FUN!....and the views are just simply amazing!.....it's changed a lot since we went a many years back, It was far more primitive and that made the journey so much more exciting!....today they have luxury lounges with marble and all the trappings of the rich at Male, I think this spoils the whole experience of adventure!.....also the Pilots are not as laid back as they used to be...... no ear plugs, a lower flight level and you could chat to everyone.....but things change!......I preferred it when it was less PC.....but just my opinion.............a lovely place, take your loved one and enjoy!

andy d I agree, I was thinking of getting a job at tma as a pilot in a year or two, but I dont think Ill make it in because more senior pilots want it as well.

Ismail Niyaz That’s unfortunately true for all smaller airlines. I follow two guys on Instagram who fly for TMA and they seem to be doing just fine:)

@@bahenbihen Good for them! I know for a fact that TMA takes really good care of their employees. I worked for one of their competitors (who shall not be named), where discrimination against junior and local pilots was strife. I lost count of the number of pilots and other technical staff who left the company to join TMA.
