A well made video of what appears to be a slick operation. However, whilst it might seem 'cool' to fly barefoot, it certainly doesn't look very professional on a commercial flight. I am surprised that the airline allows this. In an emergency situation, this could actually become a hindrance, as the pilot's feet are totally unprotected. The pilot(s) would need to take an active rôle in the safety, protection and evacuation of their pax. With the potential for injured feet, they would be unable to do this. I would have thought that at least a pair of deck/boat shoes would be in order.
@theflyinggasmask5 ай бұрын
@@heli-crewhgs5285 It's easier to deal with wet feet, rather than soaked shoes. Especially considering its a sea plane.

Wow! I commuted to Aarhus for about 4 years. I thought I've tried everything from Copenhagen: by car over Storebæltsbroen bridge, by train under the sea, by SAS ATR-72 and by boat on MOLSLINJEN. I should get back to work in AArhus and try the Seaplanes!!

Quite common here on the West Coast of Canada. Vancouver to Victoria has upwards of 10 flights each day in the summer. Also Seattle, Nanaimo and several of the smaller islands are connected this way, with the exact same planes. They are actually all made in Canada, as DHC stands for De Havilland Canada..and the headquarters is now in Victoria BC. Great to see them in use in other places. Denmark is beautiful

if visiting North America, specifically Seattle, Victoria BC Canada or Vancouver Canada try Kenmore Air or Harbour Air......they both are Seaplane operators in the Northwest. Scenery is just as beautiful as Denmark. I have been on De Havilland Beavers, Otters and twin Otters as well as the Cessna Caravan with them. They do fly elsewhere too.

Absolutely wonderful video and trip report! This is so much more exciting than the larger aircraft types out of major airports! Great to see the footage of the Twin Otter. I had no idea it is so spacious inside. Here in Vancouver, BC, I try to fly on Harbour Air as much as possible. I am hoping my next trip will be on the Twin Otter, so far I have only been on the Single Otter, which is also an experience in itself. Wonderful photography, and I had no idea Aarhus is so large. This is definitely the best trip report I have seen! Thank you! Cheers, Carl
